  1. It's even an necessity if you ask me. When ROSE came out screen resolutions were not that big of an issue, but with the 4k, ultrawide, dual-monitor setups of today the resolutions go all over the place. And a UI with fixed size elements simply don't work anymore. I learned this from my experience in webdevelopement. So to add that to the motivation. Move this to the top of the list!
  2. The problem is that all UI elements are a fixed size. A revamp of the UI is needed to properly fix this.
  3. Maybe carts should be mounts as well then. An engineered one and a better mount. Where you need to assemble the cart-mount at a cart engineer NPC. You need the Cart drive skill first before you can do that. Mounts could be acquired early on and then the carts later. So instead of having a PAT tab where you can put in cart parts to make a cart. The tab will be become a Mount-tab.
  4. You mean the PAT tab, where your cart also goes?
  5. Even better idea on this: Make a couple of layout presets to choose from.
  6. Having auto-attack cost zero ammo, but abilities does cost ammo might be a good solution to this perhaps.
  7. Perfect repair hammers for weapons only on soldiers i would say. And have the armor-version of the perfect hammer at Artisans.
  8. OK, wild idea. Just remove ammunition completely and just have unlimited ammo. Not having to buy/craft ammo anymore. The ammo effects can be added to the weapons instead. Then those 3 slots can be removed from the UI. Just think about this: What's the joy of constantly needing to walk back to town to buy ammo?
  9. Point 1: I would give the crafting teleport scroll skill to the Muse 2nd Job actually. I feel that's more fitting. Point 2: If the amount of available scrolls decreases (cause they have to be crafted first) then people would travel a lot more often, yes. That would make the world feel larger.
  10. I dislike the town teleport scrolls. There are enough ways to travel around. Those teleport scrolls are really not needed if you ask me. Teleporting around makes the world feel small and then you get easily bored, i guess.
  11. Correction: you can get rested XP inside any friendly capital city or inside an Inn of an village/settlement. To translate this to ROSE: you could get rested XP while in Zant/Junon Polis/Eucar/etc.. within the city walls only, not outside. Or you can build up rested XP while at a certain respawn locations (those stone man structures, see pic).
  12. It's not about the docks. This was the first picture i could find where you can see the ground (of Junon polis) best.
  13. It would be cool if walking paths (marked red in picture) will be shop free. But ofcourse also for other cities. If players try then they can get the error: "It isn't safe to place a shop in the middle of the street. Please find a safer spot to open your shop."
  14. Maybe the droptable can be made so that the special rewards are only there if you enter the dungeon as a party. Or maybe even as a full party.
  15. The dungeons could have a increased chance of dropping the blue items (saint/legend/grand/elven/etc..). And even have the exclusive chance of dropping purple items. Dungeons could have increased dropchance of many other stuff as well. Which makes the dungeons interesting enough of not skipping them.
  16. Exactly. This gives the game's storyline more depth and gameplay wise more ways to play. It's good if the game doesn't only have endgame dungeons, but have level up dungeons as well. And maybe, if i look to World of Warcraft as an example, all dungeons could be level up dungeons and have a hardmode version for endgame purposes. That would be even better.
  17. I think the devteam should look to ingame solutions to this. What is it that people want using multiple clients for? Maybe there can be an ingame solution to solve the shortcoming. If people need multiple clients to play the game then there is a flaw ingame that doesn't give the need players want to have. And that's where the fix should be. And if i look in the suggestion forum here then there already some good suggestions which solve a couple of these needs. For example take a look on how other MMO's solve some of these issues for example. Some solutions are very clever or so simple, you wouldn't thought of it.
  18. I think this can be nice feature too, but i would limit it only to towns and cities. Maybe each town/city has a npc where you need to 'register the town/city first to your map' or something before you can choose the location as starting point after you log in. This way it's always a location where you've been before and then you can't choose specific locations in your advantage. I also think you should be able to only choose a location on the same planet as where you logged out. And i think there should be a cooldown (of at least 1 hour) on this feature as well. Otherwise people keep logging in and out to swap locations instead of using teleport scrolls.

    Duel system

Might even improve PvP experiences of players making PvP more popular. The way how it works in World of Warcraft is actually a good example of how it can be in ROSE too: https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Dueling It would be good if some areas should be excluded as location where players can duel. Like inside towns/cities or close to respawn points.
  20. I don't see the added value of having such a feature in the game. In any case not to share with other players by means of a statistics scoreboard. That information on your character screen only is fine. I've seen in other games people use this kind of information to start filtering who they want to play with and who they don't. In the long run, this can only be harmful to the playing experience if players start discriminated other players by stats.
  21. I personally am against features that give premium users too much advantages. Buying remotely is one of those things.
  22. Would be cool if a vendor shop got an auction tab as well. Where you can bid on the item, but when the time is up then the item goes to the player with the highest bid.
  23. I think this a cool idea. Is not that hard to implement either i think.
  24. What if we see the flying vessel (zeppelin) more often? What if there will be new lands in space to explore with the flying vessel. These floating chunks of land in space, or meteorites, can only be explored for rare goods by using the Castle Gear. These lands could be procedural generated so each meteorite is different. Sometimes you might stumble upon a Boss mob and get a really rare item or material. And sometimes you get a place where only small mobs live and has uncommon and slightly rare stuff. People without Castle Gear could rent a CG, but this CG is not strong enough to battle against boss mobs. You might need a party to have a chance in that case or bring your own Castle Gear.
