  1. A new basic skill for all players that let everybody place a campfire would be better. And towns and cities would have one or multiple places (not only campfires, but also stoves) where you can cook also.
  2. ....a muse casting bonfire? Or just fireplace inside towns. Ofcourse the game needs to be updated so a fireplace can be found in towns.
  3. Yes, or have an upgrade system where your current gearpiece can be upgraded with a reduced cost of valor/honor appropiate to the gearpiece. New is full price, upgrade is reducted price.
  4. Fishing would only be a nice addition to the game if the game also had something like a cooking system. So you can cook your fish to craft some specialized healing items to use in combat and such. If fishing has no benefit in any way then i don't think the game needs it, because having a quite time with friends is not beneficial enough.
  5. Maybe add a setting to choose between 2 or 3 sizes. And perhaps shapes (square or rounded minimap) too.
  6. Not agree with this. A feature can be nice to have, but a feature must also fit with the game. And i think that seeing all players as dots on a map does not fit in the game. I would say even gamebreaking as it could give players an unnessesary advantage.
  7. I could agree to this map thing if this feature should have at least the following two possibilities. Like we all agree: Show/Hide all the dots on the map. Maybe with the options (check on/off what you want): Show all players Show Clan Members Show Friends Show Party Members I would like to have the ability to exclude myself from this system. So i won't show up on the map. With the options (check on/off what you want. All off = hide for everyone ) Show my location for everyone Show my location to Clan Show my location to Friends Note: When in a party, your location should always be known towards the party. You can hide the party member's dots on the map for yourself though. Note 2: The dots-system (except Party Members and Clan Members for Clan Field) should be disabled on PvP maps, Clan Fields, Union War-maps, etc... Maps where PvP is involved. The reason why is because i think it's important to have an opt-out in this system. Players might want to this because of privacy reasons, like a way to play without interruption by other players. And also because this give extra possibilities to play the game.
  8. What's wrong with a little search on the map? Not everything has to be spelled out. There is no fun in that.
  9. I wouldn't want players to show up on my map unless it are party members. I mean in cities, like Junon Polis, the map wouldn't be readable at all. Even an hide option is a bad idea. Not everything has to be tracked with that precise. WoW feature to have just a list of players present in a map is best solution. You can see how crowded it is by looking at the list. You don't need more then that. Not everything should be on the map.
  10. World of Warcraft has the Who-list feature for this purpose that could work for ROSE as well. It's quite simple to use. https://wowwiki-archive.fandom.com/wiki/Who_List Could work like: /who "breezy hills" and then you get a list who is in Breezy Hills. In WoW it works with classes or levels too. So for ROSE it will be like /who muse to get all muses or /who 200-250 to get all players between level 200 and 250. But as this is quite handy to have, it won't be a feature that will be used often. So it doesn't require a big overhaul to the game. Just a simple output to the chat or in a seperate window would be enough.
  11. Just have flat bonussen and fees. The idea you have is good. Gives more depth to ROSE.
  12. Totally agree. And maybe the quest area as well (unless it's the whole map or multiple maps).
  13. I would not have each union have a settlement in each map. More that one union has a presence in one map, and another union has presence in another map. Arumics might have business in Forest of Wisdom, Ferrel Guild might have business in Kanji Beach and Righteous Crusaders might have business in Gorge of Silence for example. And i would add backtracking also to the union settlements, where one has to quest in another map to get something.
  14. It depends on the definition of what you call a settlement. It can be small too. Like one or two tents and a campfire or something. A settlement doesn't always have to be big in games.
  15. I like this idea. Good thinking. This is something the game can absolutely use. Oh, to expand on the idea: Beside the Union Representatives in the settlements there can be Union Settlements as well, where you can only profit from if you joined the Union. Like having a Arumic settlement for the Arumic union for example.
  16. I personally would ditch the party level completely. You just have a party to play with other people and challenge foes together. And simply no other benefits.
  17. Yes this, but without forcing the players visiting all corners of a map. The quests has to make sense as well.
  18. I totally agree with this. Maybe a small questline can help players out. Kill 6 mobs with a 2h Sword. Kill 6 mobs with staff. etc..
  19. UH no. I do think having dungeons on lower levels as well is good for the variation during leveling/grinding. Think in possibilities, not in restrictions. If you don't want dungeons during leveling up, you don't have to do them. It's your choice. For me, i like switching scenery for now and then when i am leveling/grinding so I don't get bored. But it would be a good idea if all dungeons have a max level version as well.
  20. But we are enemies of each other. We have different agendas of what we want to achieve. World of Warcraft, for example, doesn't allow players of opposing factions to chat with each other. This way players can coordinate without that enemy player know their plan. So maybe there could be an Arua-chat and a Hebarn-chat so each side can chat there without of the other side knowing. But I like this idea so much that I would take this idea even further. Arua players would start on planet Junon, just like it is now. Nothing changes for them. Hebarn players start on planet Skaaj. We haven't seen this planet yet. Skaaj is supposed to be a vacation resort with a love theme. But since Hebarn invaded the place the love here cannot be found anywhere on this planet. It has become a place of hatred. Arua players advance from planet Junon to planet Luna. Junon was safe and fully controlled by Arua, but Luna is partly controlled by Arua and is in conflict with Hebarn. Hebarn players, on the other hand, advance from planet Skaaj to planet Karkia. Same story there. Skaaj is safe for Hebarn players and Karkia is in conflict with Arua. Both sides advance then to planet Eldeon. After that to planet Oro. And at last they go to planet Hebarn. This planet is very unsafe for both Arua and Hebarn players. Here are the worst entities of the evil Hebarn, which aren't even friendly for the Guards of Hebarn. This planet is the ultimate endgame. Both sides can visit each other planets. But be aware of the risks. An arua controlled planet is not safe for Hebarn and vice versa. Check this map i made:
  21. I'd like the idea of having two sides. But there are many things why this could work or wouldn't work. So i have a couple of questions, which are also based on experiences with other MMO's i've played. Would the two sides be able to chat with each other? Or wouldn't they simply not see each others chatmessages. How should this work in cities? Are the cities considered sanctuaries with no pvp possible or would each side have their own cities?
  22. Jousting would be awesome if Cart Weapons would be better available. More versions of Cart Weapons types. And allowing Castle Gear in it as well.
  23. Not every reward has to be something you can use. It would be nice though, but it really doesn't have to. If you have some different quests with different kind of rewards, then you can choose which you wanna do and which not. Or just do 'm all and sell the rewards you don't need. It gives players choice and that's a good thing.
  24. Don't take it too literal. It's just for aesthetics. A king must look good and stronger.
  25. Oh, didn't know they were also king-rank, but makes sense now you've said it. Personally i choose Candle Ghost as well. Would be cool if the Candle Ghost King wears a crown and holds a sword or sceptre or something.
