At NA, annual events automatically begin and end without the need for a server restart but I think it would be good to have some sort of notice in the game about events, I was thinking maybe it could be a system message when you log in. This image is from the test server to show what I mean by system message. The message wouldn't have to be fancy, just the name of the event and possibly directing players to check here at the forum for more info. At least that way you would see when you logged in that something is happening. I do plan to post the annual event list once the game launches and I've got event guides for every event too. I just thought it would be useful to have some indication when you log in since not everyone is familiar with the annual events from NA

  5. Maybe we haven't really had a need for this before but when the closed and open betas start and certainly when the game launches, this forum will become much more active. I was surprised to learn just now that I had reached my daily limit of reactions. Not sure what that daily number is but I suggest either removing that limit completely or raise the daily number so people can freely show their feelings with a reaction.
  6. Locking the resets behind the IM was definitely one of the factors at the root of many issues at NA including the need to create a lot of different toons. It also had an effect on the economy since you could sell those items for a ton of zulie. I really don't understand how making resets more available would affect the economy in a negative way. There are still job classes so it's not like you can reset your hawker to become a soldier lol. All it would do is give players (both new and old) a chance to figure out what build works best for them so they can enjoy the game and feel like the grind is not wasted.

I'm jealous of the back items you have on your shop image. Were those wings from testing on Pegasus or something? I always wanted them and that coffin back item but never got either. Nice purple Castle Gear too. Mine was red
  8. I agree and I am a long time iROSE person. As I got more into evo I really started to love it despite the obvious p2w angle. Pretty much everything that you could buy in the IM you could get f2p with some time and effort. And how exciting to actually learn new things in a game I had played for so many years. Not everyone who came with me to NA when Titan closed ended up staying but that's only because they went into it with the mindset that the old way was the only way. If you embrace change, you discover things that you never dreamed possible.
  9. Shops are rarely set up back there by the docks but I get your point. The idea of there being some key(s) you could use to click to move without interacting with shops is also good and possibly better for the overall effect of a busy city with many shops where you can search for a bargain.
  10. Hiding shops sounds interesting tho there would still have to be a way for people to know there IS a shop so they can buy stuff ofc. Most players set their shops on the side of Junon Polis where Mildun is and that's also where one of the main spawn spots is located. I'm sure that adds to lag because you literally spawn in the most crowded area of the city. Maybe moving the spawn spot a bit further up past where the vacationing Premium Shop NPC's were could be one solution for that. I think the spawn spot on the bridge near the mayor is fine as it is. Same with the spawn spot on the JCF side. As for walkways, the area where my clan used to hang is plenty wide enough for both a walkway and shops as is the area near storage but past that as you head towards Belia, it gets more narrow so maybe forcing shops to be some distance apart is the answer. That way there would be space to click to move while still giving players the chance to check the shops if they want to.
  11. Junon Polis won't be the same without all of the shops but I do get your point. Moving around in a crowded area can be difficult and laggy depending on your pc and internet connection. There already is something in the game that prevents you from setting up a shop within 10m of an NPC but there was also some sort of glitch/cheat that some people used that let them set their shops closer. I remember spending a lot of time reporting people whose shops were in places where I could not set my shop when I first started playing at NA.
  12. Resetting stats still requires you to strip the character of all equipment so I doubt that will be an issue in pvp and it takes awhile to reallocate those stats. Plus both parties involved would have the same capability so things would still be equal or as equal as pvp ever is. My concern is not only for brand new players but also for old iROSE players who have never tried Evo before. I know from personal experience that it is MUCH harder to unlearn what you have known for years than it is to learn it fresh. There are literally hundreds of differences between Evo and iROSE, both big and small, and forcing those players to suffer because they built their toons based on what they knew before rather than how things are here seems just cruel to me. Even with the info available in the stat window in the game, the only way to really see how a build works is by using it and with things like charm being needed for buffs for every job class, making resets available is essential imo.
  13. Right now there is one free stat and one free skill reset available from Mayor Darren in Junon Polis but honestly, I would rather see the reset skills just added to the skill trees permanently. New players will make mistakes even after reaching level 100 and since the retraining/reset books will no longer be in the Item Mall, there is no reason to make resets difficult to get. All players would benefit from being able to make adjustments to their stats and skills as they progress in the game. Remember too that zulie will not be as easy to get as it was in NA because there will not be valuable IM items available in player shops. 50 million zulie was nothing in NA but it will be a big deal here.

  15. Unfortunately the ROSE forum at Warpportal was archived so I can't edit anything on the guides I made there but the devs here did make a couple of changes to clans so far on the test server. Starting number was increased to 10 (formerly 5) and the max number is capped now at 100 (formerly 450). Having the ability to have 10 people in the clan when you make it is going to be super helpful. It was really brutal when this new clan system was implemented at NA with only 5 members until you could get enough clan points to expand the clan. And I think 100 max is fine, 450 was way too much even taking into account people's alts. I don't think anything has been finalized yet but the current clan system is pretty nice and I do hope they keep most of it. It gives clans the ability to decide which skills to focus on and work towards. The cost of the clan skills definitely needs to be reviewed along with some of the clan skills themselves however.

  18. Far as I know you can post stuff from a pserver that is closed like RuffRose or titan but not from a pserver that's currently running since they are in violation of the copyright.
  19. Thanks for sharing that video! The Easter quest was fun but also so frustrating. For some reason I always had trouble getting the egg in the Forest.
  20. Maybe instead of another job class there could be a specific pvp map for just Castle Gear. Since we have the CG schematics and the materials needed to craft CG in the Valor Shop it would be easy enough to add those weapon schematics to that shop. It takes some work to get Valor points but it's doable and you can't take the quest to get the CG driving skill until level 110 anyway so there is time to get the points, mats and schematics. I'm not into pvp at all but clearly CG was designed for combat so a special map just for them makes sense. People like me could still get a set of CG and just flex in Junon Polis if we want If you don't have plans for the Garden of Aru map that would be one possibility. It would probably need some modifications tho. Junon Cartel might be another option.
  21. Ohh yeah that was the Minecraft thing that Donan added. You got a secret achievement for finding that place and when you completed the task in there, you were rewarded with the pickaxe and this lovely square head hat thing
