  1. I would just like to highlight this It reminds me of a conversation on the discord where everyone was saying they likes PvM and 2 people were saying everyone likes PvP, I've said it before, PvP people are just louder! And that's not necessarily a bad thing but being in both worlds I really saw the contrast
  2. Allow CTRL+right click from the craftinmg menu to preview items I was watching @OwlchemistVile's stream and noticed you can't do that, might be a bug or a feature but I'd suggest to make it work! https://clips.twitch.tv/CrunchyDifficultEmuAMPEnergy-ft5UdHwVjb8Y8qx0 Pros: Most likely easy to implement. Very convenient. Cons: I guess taking the time to make the feature...
  3. Charm does a lot more than just for buffs. If I'm not forgetting anything, charm gives you buff potency, debuff potency, critical resistance, damage over time potency, healing over time potency & better quest rewards on some quests. Charm is currently OP! Edit: I forgot that charm also gives healing potency, thanks for reminding me Vile!
  4. I think it would be a great idea to have a section, in the item mall, that has limited time cosmetic items, that would stay available for 2 weeks only, until they are replaced by other limited time cosmetics. For example, You could have a few costume sets, a few wings and masks, etc. And the idea would be that if you miss out on them, it could take a year before they come back. the amount of limited cosmetics could also be limited to one costume set, one back item and one mask for example, and there would be 26 combinations that would come every two weeks. Or it could be 12 a year with a few more options. Pros: Revenue for Rednim without being pay to win at all since it's all cosmetics! Some cosmetics would be a little more rare, so not everyone would be wearing the same gorgeous outfit. Collectors would be happy to collect costumes knowing that they won't stay in the IM for long (instead of them being available constantly). Cons: None? I think?
  5. @MittelDank Please remember to read the rules of the forum before posting comments or links. Edit: Thank you @HazDS for removing the URL.
  6. The thing about the log in screen is that you are not logged in. So you can't guess, in advance, which account and which character in that account you are going to log in with. The alternative to this would be to either make it configurable, you pick one and that's it. Or, you could make it so that the last logged in character's location would influence the login screen. But I think the first option would please more people and be easier to implement.
  7. Directly from the FAQ: Will there still be premium accounts? There seems to be demand for a way to support us on a regular basis, so we are going to keep premium accounts in the game. A premium account will only get a couple of quality of life features (e.g. remote storage or the option to leave your vending shop behind) and never anything that would be considered pay to win. So yeah, premium will contain quality of life features buit some visual indicator would be cool too, wether that's an icon or a lightly colored username. To stay on topic though, I'm really torn by those teleportation tickets and storage tickets. They are just a quality of life feature, one allows you to teleport faster to a map, one allows you to access your storage from anywhere, that's it. However, them being in the IM, it depends on if they are tradable or not because technically, someone could buy IM points, buy a lot of those tickets, and sell them for zulies, which would sort of be like buying zulie. Edit: Torn, not thorn
  8. The third one is also my favourite. It looks so good even though it's in 240p! The textures is what I hope Rose will look like eventually I love the four looks of the characters too, seeing all 4 jobs of dealer, hawker, muse and soldier sets, I'd love to see those in game!
  9. I wholeheartedly agree that the pay-to-win aspects of the game we not great, and having costumes with bonus sets was not ideal because everyone was wearing the same thing, and you were limited to what you could wear because the bonuses were useful. I love the idea that costumes will always only be costumes and purely esthetic! But I will miss the fact that there was a way to get a small percentage of extra drops and extra exp though. So, it could be cool to have an extra item slot in the avatar area of the inventory for bonuses. I don't think these bonuses should be anything like attack power or crit, because some gems already do that, but it could be a thing too... However, these bonus stat items could be, for example, 10% exp bonus or 10% chance of extra drop. It could even be a bonus inventory space as like a 4x4 slots storage or something! They could be quest rewards so it would be available for everyone. Please note that this is an open suggestion and that I don't know myself how exactly we could bring back bonus stats and make them better or if we should even bring them back in a certain way. But if it were a bonus item, there is a space for it in the avatar as you can see in the image below. Otherwise, feel free to add your ideas and thoughts! Thanks to Owlchemist_vile for keeping his inventory open for hours and letting me get this screenshot on his stream.
  10. This is more of a general idea than a specific one. When leveling and changing weapons and armor, refining gets very expensive since you change gear frequently. It would be nice to have a way of using a refined item to refine another. Maybe a couple refinement levels could be lost, maybe it could cost more zulie than just refining, maybe you could only transfer refinements between items of the same type (weapon, shoes, back items, etc.) or of the same item grade, for example. It could be an extra option at the NPC that allows refinement, it could be a skill like dissassembly too, I dunno! I'd like to know what alternatives there could be to this or if you guys have any idea what other conditions or limitations there could be. Another point to consider is that this could just be a very bad idea because it would remove the economy aspect and rotation of items, meaning that, instead of buying and selling things you need and no longer need, you'd just consume what you no longer need for your new items.
  11. So almost half the characters are gonna be artisan or cleric, oof! I think that this confirms that I am going to make a bourg again
  12. I cannot wait to remind you to make that video the second the game comes out
  13. I do not think that the free skill and stat resets from Darren will be removed. If you read the faq (linked below) you can see that all pay-to-win askects of the game will be removed. The item mall will only contain quality of life as well as cosmetics. Therefore, the skill and stat reset consumables from the item mall will no longer be in the item mall. We can only hope that all players will be able to reset their skill and stat points for free every X hours. I don't know if it has been suggested in the suggestions section of the forums yet but it has been discussed many times in the discoird server and in the alpha streams. So the free stat and skill points resets from darren could possibly be used indefinitely instead of just once, that would be, chef's kiss. Let's wait and see
  14. Read the faq. The game is in alpha and is not yet opened to the public.
  15. @Kai Not sure if you knew but you can quote multiple replies as well as reply to the main topic of the thread to avoid clutter and sending two replies in a row. Clerics will still be great supports by having heals, bonfires as well as summons. But as I said in the original post of the thread, "This not the thread for suggestions or discussing changes to the different classes but feel free to explain why you picked a certain class". Knights are very good, and classes are currently all being looked at in alpha. But again, this is not the thread to discuss this so please keep it on topic. If you have suggestions feel free to post in the correct section of the forums and if you have any comments about a class, feel free to start a new thread. Thanks a lot!
  16. I'm surprised that more people want to be an artisan than a raider, but they do give a good advantage as a first character!
  17. The data lover in me really wants to know what ratio of classes there will be and if too many people pick the same class as me, mayble I'll go for something else! I also can't make up my mind Yes, classes are subject to change, and some of these changes are somewhat controversial. This not the thread for suggestions or discussing changes to the different classes but feel free to explain why you picked a certain class. This is just for fun and statistics. I'm very hesitant between champion or night and bourgeois for my first character. Bourgs are great to start with because you can craft some things, get NPC discouts and eventually NPC selling premiums. Might even try a gun bourg at first too! Soldiers are fun to play and very versatile when it comes to play style, my first main was a spear champ which eventually changed to a 2H sword champ eventually, so I like that with the same class you can use different types of weapons. Edit: Typos
  18. This one is pretty simple. There could be an option in the settings to always display item details when hovering items without having to right click them. Credit to @OwlchemistVile for giving me the idea, so if the idea sucks blame him https://clips.twitch.tv/SteamyJollyClipzDxCat-6Wt5K6vqFsFfhZqT Pros: It would allow hovering many items quickly in inventory and storage. Right clicking also moved the camera so it would be useful if you're looking for something specific. It could also be toggled on by defaut so new uses would already see the full item description without having to right click, which can be unintuitive. Cons: Development time it might require.
  19. If I remember correctly, I think I have heard lazypenguin say that they wanted no costumes with set bonuses because they didn't wanna have every single player wear the same set. I do not know if the devs changed their mind on this so it could have changed. But that doesn't necessarily imply that they will be unavailable, they were very good looking costumes so hopefully they'll be available in some way!

    Hello

Welcome Erick! Please don't forget to read the rules of the forums before posting. Edit: Find the rules here
  21. For now the drop tables are subject to change, but hopefully they will keep unique weapons on the drop tables because if the max level stays 100 as @MittelDanksayd, they could be great weapons to use! Plus, a lot of them look great
  22. Yeah both are pretty similar and both allow tracking quests. I like your idea because it requires the player to physically be in the map to see its quest, that way, you wouldn't be able to see the quests of maps you haven't visited yet!
  23. Back to top buttons are very common and user friendly according to design conventions and best practices, it's the kind of thing I do for a living! Pretty easy to implement aswell, so I like this idea
  24. Hi Vivito, welcome back! Yeah a lot of old schoolers are joining the discord and forums, every day! Excited and waiting for a beta or public beta hopefully soon. See you around mate!
  25. I really like this idea, I feel like it resembles my idea to have a quest tracker for the quests you've completed and those you haven't Yours could be easier to develop as a feature and would still allow to see which quests are available in a town. So I'm all for it!
