  1. I think it would qualify as part of "quality of life". Anyways soon we will see what is what
  2. Personally i see only combat/refining and specific economy things are p2w as other things are more moralic "p2w" what doesnot really matter in general. Same time, game developers does need money to keep game running/maintained, so there must be ways them to make money without turning game to cashgrab.
  3. I have collected list of questions what i have seen asked more than once once (or missed since not everyone is in Discord): What is max level on time of launch? Max level in game is 250, is there lower limit in start? Are all existing planets available? There were talks that only Junon or something Which dungeons open on launch? Thats question IF only Junon/etc planets are available in start. What are connection limits from same shared IP ? There is limit of 2 sessions per PC, what about from same shared internet line? Will early beta client auto update itself to early access one or has to be deleted/replaced by new one? What are the updated minimum requirements for game? What windows version? Ram? Will Rose points be avalable on early launch? Can rose points be traded in some way? Can items be gifted/bought for others? Is there public roadmap what could be shared to know whats coming next/planned?
  4. I do also pickup everything always, but storing this all is another issue Rose has very big variety of usable drops (assuming you want to keep it for crafting or selling). Even if you sell all junk, you will need at least one account just for storage, as many drops are low rate and it fills up storage slots very fast
  5. "There will only be cosmetic items and quality of life perks for sale on the item mall. Costumes will not provide extra stats." What would be considered quality of life items? Everyone sees p2w differently. Here are some example ones Teleportation tickets Remote storage access and extra space Skill and stats reset (at higher level) Summons or in-game summon skins (what has no special stats compared to ingame ones, just different look). Or summons what just follow you and actually never fight or give any bonus. Vending "shop" skins Cart (skins) (assuming they just have different look, no special stats/bonus). Best craftable cart could be as good as cart from shop. Skin limitation could be restricted specific cart models. In game name changes Name registration (after 13th Dec launch, some may still want to "reserve" their nick) Visual gems to give certain visual glow to weapons (and have no extra stats), would be nice if it would influence also color of ranged attacks Upgrade materials for shop costumes/etc, again, all it does makes costume more shiny, no other things Various character/clan name "frames" or other things I am sure there are more things i missed, and some i just thought from other games
  6. Maybe Karkia or Hebarn could be one different and hostile planet with fitting rewards. Currently most planets are relatively empty due to big size compared to player base (and most players are focused in key farming locations). One planet could be where only spawn city is safe, and rest for example would make even walking without buffs/healing hard, if not impossible Also where mobs would gang up on you when you attack close ones. As mentioned before i do agree once you get high level and have most gear, your game options becomes much more limited. Imagine having one planet as real hellhole where even "breathing" costs you hp and monsters have agressive agro, where moving needs good party and so on Also random spawning some boss-level monsters roam around or visit common farm location to spice up boring farming and adding more "variety" to gameplay
  7. There could be option/shorcut in game client to show current FPS(frames per second) and network latency in ms (ping/roundrobin latency between game server and current client). It can help see/understand what cause sluggish feeling and help on troubleshooting Most games have it and it does sometimes help finding out real reason gameplay issues
  8. In many cases it depends also on your gear and support characters, some "hard" places are really easy if you have high level flames/buffs and farming/etc gear, same time if you have no chance/luck for such help you may have hard times in many places
  9. There is "Support" button on main website of Roseonlinegame, it could be handy to have it in header of forum page also same way as Website and Discord
  10. I am sure it will be clarified in FAQ or posts on launch time, or shortly after it as its relatively common question
  11. There was talk about 2 game sessions per computer limit, but there has been no official info about how many per ip total, probably it will be posted sometime before launch
  12. Based on devs comments so far all server(s) will be in USA somewhere
  13. Party and also group (e.g in AA/etc). PVP areas especially needs fast information sharing/reaction, by time you are done typing message its often too late already lol
  14. It is close to time for anyone who has plans to pre-register their character names Rose had lots of good and dormant/unusable character, especially from people who didnot play anymore, it will be interesting to see later what names will appear in game good luck to everyone !
  15. Thats nice, example dropdown of saved accounts
  16. We should bump this post up once game is up
  17. I think it is too complex for most people, and there are not many who do understand what it is for exactly... I do recall there is way to set username/password from command line, even though its plain text Some secure way to auto-login would nice, especially if you have more than one account, but using rsa/etc keys would require too much manhours from developers while only very small fraction of people would use it properly
  18. I like the idea, it has some complexity to it also, example what happens if time expires and user is somewhere farming/leveling? or got kicked Or how it will be clearly shown when it expires if its "auto removed"? Can it be extended easily? Can clan masters/etc see whose items are shared to members? Also, can it be used to share for example consumables and other non-gear things
  19. Few things i noticed poking around so far. First, once you manage to download/install it, it asks account name, can be confusing as in real it expects your email Installation seem to work fine if patient, but it could show some progress while installing Visual C++ libraries (its done on background now, and "nothing happens" on this time, can confuse as may seem that it froze). Its installing both 32 and 64 bit libraries, are both really needed on all systems? Game starts default in full screen. Maybe launcher could ask window or full screen on first lunch at least? To exit login screen you need to only use "Quit". Adding "X" on top right somewhere on login page could be helpful Game runs after login, can run around kill some low level mobs, also have start interactions with npc PS! created accidentally in wrong forum section, could someone move it please, sorry
  20. In normal life special gear needs frequent maintenence or its efficiency starts to degrade I could be some quests or npc thing (simiular to refining/etc, just not requiring super rate materials) In long term it could be given even to Artisans to do (and let me earn some ZZ from it and help "gear horders" to save time) Idea is to make sure people has to take care of their main gears, example item some stat (e.g. dodge rate/defense/accuracy) would only be 100% if its taken care properly, otherwise it would be a little less. Idea would be that to have 100/100 gear it has to be maintained, otherwise its few points less (not critical mostly, but may make difference). It could also one way to return zulies/etc back from market to game I am aware its not so easy to develope, and also many people will dislike it
  21. Yes i do remember supreme ones, but even they are often killed by nearby farmers or didnot drop for days (unless it was fixed last year when i wasnot playing) Job quest was just one example, all i meant is that quest system could be polished a little more Hopefully being in party will also be enough when server open alpha and it will be swarmed by army of eager players who will be doing this quests, maybe devs will raise this mobs respawn and/or proof drop rate
  22. Quest system in game has always been somehow unbalanced. This post is primarily related to KEY quests (first/second job, cart/cg drive) In general i think JOB/CLass quests should be specific to job you pick, and shouldnot be depend on some rare monster/etc where it majorly limits chances, especially if its close or in some popular farming/level area. This can create frustation for new players as i have seen in past many being stuck for weeks in Krafy or another place, simply as they need to have it done and its not easy if you dont have much help from others. Job specific quests could be the related to earning your class specfic passives. Most discussed quests are now "kill N monsters in X location" style what should be diversified, some had little variations but not exactly. Doing PAT related quests are same annoying, no clear time estimation, and new players often mix up texts meaning/map. With reworking many other things in game (e.g. much slower leveling/etc) some of this problems will be fixed, but many remains. Based on developers comments game will be more focused around working on slowly your key character, and not having 20 of them at max level, with slowing things done quest balance is even more important (especially for new/inexperience players) ---------------- Recapp: Quests texts should be VERY clear what has to be done, even if your english isnot 10/10. Job/Class jobs should be more specific for class specifics Quest locations/logic should make sure it is guaranteed to complete in certain time, not to frustate players by dragging it for many days Huntable job quest "Random" drop rate should be "RATE" drop rate, as it would quarantee that even if you were unlucky after 5-10 kills you still get it. I recall having one character what couldnot get krafy drop for weeks as it was "randomly unlucky" Programmic random isnot really random/fair. We can create class-spefic threads about job classes if Devs has interest, as adding classes/etc all ideas in one post here would be way too long
  23. Candle Ghost, but its not in list I like how it moves, sounds and annoys "No legs" is OP
  24. use character skills to dance for and greet/wave/bow to everyone who is watching stream
  25. It did work via emulation/etc before on Mac also (older macs used Intel cpu), now with Apple moving to own (Arm based) silicon, running non-native things became more complicated. Probably they have plan for it for future, even though mac user base is still very small compared to windows one
