  1. I took some tiar and gunpowder packets, set it to craft 30 boxes and walked away. I came back to 30 boxes of bomber shells in my consumables tab. Would I want crafting to be different? Sure, I'd like a workbench and maybe a forge to call my very own, maybe a manufactory for big stuff like building ships and buses and whatnot. I don't know whether I'd still feel like an artisan if I produce 1000 boxes of ammo per second without the help of a device. EDIT: Are you simply unaware that we have a certain level of batch crafting? That feature is clearly underadvertised.
  2. It'd be awkward to move it since it uses relatively basic mats
  3. Shouldn't the batch crafting feature be taking 90% of the effort out of it though?
  4. I guess I never noticed since I crafted mine during its legacy phase. In that case, there's no bug to report.|
  5. The item gives 30 CON and requires 30 CHA to equip yet is 'craftable' by a basic class skill. A dealer, not an artisan. There's clearly something wrong here.
  6. That is a really, really good question. I bet you searched the forums first before posting this in General Discussions, right?
  7. Your kids will determine how long it takes to get BiS.
  8. Thanks for the input. Are you sure you meant to post this in Suggestions though? The points you mentioned have been and are being looked at. Reading deeper into what you posted, I'm still wondering how you're being forced to play with others. At no point in my time on NARose was this ever the case with me. You're likely implying that party leveling is the most optimum form of leveling and thus so meta that only through this way will anyone bother to level. Have you even tried solo leveling? (No, I don't mean Sung Jin-Woo.) I did it fine on my dealer and he grew up to become a strong artisan. Both my clerics leveled solo whenever they didn't party. Neither my mage nor knight had problems in that regard either. My speardancer enjoyed the freedom to kill as she pleased with no meta restrictions. Dungeons are another story, of course, but that's not really core to the leveling schema, is it? Maybe explain how you're *forced* to play with others before we talk about the rest of what you mentioned.
  9. *frowns* EDIT: Smells like pserver and excessively rewards nolifers... How would you balance this if the entire point is imbalance?
  10. In future, allowing different crafted types of the same weapon to fuse could be an excellent zulie sink. The attempts would decline dramatically in success rate from 2 types to 3, and of course moreso 3 to 4. Balanced Hardened Shadow Staff.
  11. Totally forgot people didn't know this. I just remembered that this was only mentioned once on the old WP forums and became common knowledge. I guess we do need a wiki...
  12. I don't think the duration is the only factor. The whole thing of refreshing along the way by doing other things, exploring, getting little micro-gratifications as you go, adding and changing subgoals - all of that is a normal part of the level grind. Just going by length of time isn't useful since people aren't machines and don't play like machines (generally).
  13. There's currently an issue with crafting the crown. Might need a bug report, we'll see after more testing. EDIT: The crown can be crafted under Armor Craft (5) -> Hair Accessory. Currently it displays (and after repeated attempts at level 75 proves to fail crafting at) 0.0% success rate. However, crowns have been sighted in Zant vendor shops.
  14. Yeah, pretty sure the whistle and maybe the red face are from the summer event.
  15. The misunderstandings (if that's what we're calling it) are a direct result of floating in the sea of pserverdom for all these years. To them, every server is a pserver. I saw a comment on a certain MMO website talking so much trash about the team and their efforts. It was immediately clear throughout that the writer came from a pserver background and had the perspective and expectations native to that environment. I guess we reap what we sow after all...
  16. If the following sounds rude I apologize as that's not my intention: Why do you expect someone to prepare you a knowledgebase pre-packaged in bite-size listicles and wiki articles? Or even an in-game encyclopedia? Why don't you make your own notes? Are you really an artisan or are you just faking it? Knowledge is power. Take that power - it's yours!
  17. You know what would help too? Not posting all these duplicate posts with zero content. 'Server down', 'can't login', 'password/account doesn't exist'. It makes the place look like a trashy pserver. If you want to chat so much while saying little of value, get on the Discord. That is literally its purpose. Everyone will hug you and be glad you came. If my words or tone offended, that was not the intention and I apologize for hurting your feelings. Really, people, we can do better and be better. Blessed be and enjoy the festive season if you can. Here's a potato.
  18. You know what would be hilarious? If upgrading your backpack upgraded inventory space at the same time. Anyway, would be nice to have additional inventory space. Is there a way to monetize this without it becoming p2w?
  19. How would you balance this, though, and prevent abuse from botters (or whatever their equivalent is if we say botting won't work anymore) EDIT: Any number of people have suggested this before, and some things have been done in this regard on pservers.
  20. There are any number of options for this. I was initially against easy resets, but I've realized that, as usual, the devil is in the details. Anyway, some ideas: - a free reset every levelup / every nth levelup - a quest that provides a reset at an NPC like Wisdom said, hard to reach. Maybe inside a procedurally generated map that changes every day - a specific loot item that affects resets somehow (either resets skills/stats fully or some sort of piece-meal approach) - a PvP victory reward (does not stack) - a consumable bought at the Valor shops - all of the above
  21. Dunno if the devs will let us build everything; players might complain that dealers are OP, omniclass etc etc. I feel like katars, dealers and clerics are the classes that cause complications in the class balance.
  22. What do you want, though? To be able to craft everything? To be the very best, like no-one ever was? To be rich really quickly? It sounds like you want a strategy guide more than some offline compendium of mats for crafting (with map locations, related mobs and drop percentages).
  23. Bobbity

    Guns no bueno?

*holds up his hands and shrugs* I assume *eventually* when enough bugs have been squashed, little things like being able to craft shells before level 70 will be a thing. Or being able to use crafting in the field for things like landmines, sentries, specialized summons etc. Or that guns will be used properly. My hope is that we'll have a fully-automatic Rapid Fire active skill or something similar, and that Sniping is turned into an actual sniping skill. I have almost no hopes and zero confidence in all the other good stuff happening.
  24. What about 2 different options? The 'Pick up' skill only attempts to pick up nearby loot that is owned by you or has no ownership. Looting via the mouse will make no such distinction.
  25. Not enough hatred, pain and torture. I frown at this peaceful solution with my frowny face. EDIT: Losing level isn't needed, of course, but losing exp is a big motivating force for killing someone. Moreso when you've inhibited them from leveling easily by preventing the use of fast travel or teleportation. Without COST and REWARD PvP is almost pointless.
