  1. I have plenty of experience at end game with Mage. I was the first one to start pushing for solo clears on Mage for dungeons. I know precisely how hard it is. The only person here who isn't proving themselves in-game and with evidence, is you. Edit: Just not worth it. Going to black list you cause you're obviously a sock puppet account from someone before with issues and trying to get a reaction out of me. Not worth it, never will be.

Try to bait me all you want, it's players in your shoes seething cause they can't figure out how to do enough damage to pop a little bubble, or use CC to prevent them from reapplying it a few times. Aint my problem until they touch it in PvM, then I got words for people who can't play a 20 year old game and simulate bubble-pop to save their egos. You wonna sound edgey and memelord go ahead. It won't get you anywhere in terms of actually represented a side of the discussion.
  3. Nobody doubts Rednims intentions. We know they want to make a good game, and gaming experience. We're telling them how to do that. Heads up, in advance on Discord, Forums, In-game and possibly twitter if it's long enough. A simple Discord notify + in-game message for quick restarts. EZ PZ done.
  4. "The luna grind solo is the worst thing you could possibly experience in this game." As someone who did exactly that, no party, solo quested from 1 to 196, yes, Luna is the worst part. As for the OP, I wouldn't mind seeing the Episode quest reformatted to be a viable leveling option. The quest can take time to fully complete, and has lots of running around.
  5. As someone with a poorly ran stream, a heads-up outside of game would be nice so I don't plan to do things during a planned down-time that no one was told about. So I have to agree, betters heads up would be nice. Else my 2 viewers aren't going to keep giving me pity bits.

  8. Here's what I'd suggest. [Game Arena] Disengage Movement speed +750 Applies Mute to self 5 seconds. 30 second cooldown MP cost 20% Max MP Designed specifically for fleeing, and not chasing [since you're silenced and can't use your skills]. Does allow auto-attacking to chase, sort of [movement is auto's worse enemy] Reasonable cooldown. MP cost prevents Mages from using it regularly since they're funneling MP into barriers [easier for low max MP static classes to blue pot and flee, blue pots won't give enough to mages] Only usable in Game Arena [yes dungeons too] I will say, Katar raiders will love this spell, which I don't like, since they're going to be about 90% of the pvp specs played at top-end unless Rednim fixed them.
  9. While I say this respectfully, I've never heard so many bad takes in such a pace as this. That has to be a new world record.
  10. Is your shield jab maxed out? If I recall correctly, it's not a 100% until max rank. IF, you tested it, they had no other buffs, and it's 100% dispel rate: and the result is it's not working? Then Rednim needs to fix it. I am not beneath making sure that the counters exist as they did and were intended to do. I DO NOT however want it nerfed to below what it was on NA cause I've seen maximum builds and efficiencies, and Mana Barrier s not the end-all be-all people want to think it is right now.
  11. Shield Jab works, it prioritizes damage and defensive buffs over shields. Fierce Cudgeling also works. Anti-magic shell also works. And like I said, you can also Stun them, Silence them, sleep them ,focus them, ignore them. I'm not going to give literally every solution to it but I can say Clerics, Knights, and Bow Scouts are very good at punishing mages. Figure it out.
  12. Wrong. It takes approximately 70 SP for a max-potency shield. 10 SP, 5 for mana barrier, 5 for reinforced mana barrier. 10 SP from common max mana passive. 20 SP for max mana and consumption in offense tree. 30 sp in Mage tree for 2 max mp passives and 1 consumption passive. The fact you think they're getting it for 5 SP, immediately shows you don't understand what is being invested to get max potency barriers. I don't even have to read beyond that to know what type of player I am dealing with. You had a bad experience, and are going to make up as many mental scenarios as you can to justify you being upset when the answer is simply you don't know enough YET to understand how to beat a Mage. And yet you still think it's justified that they're nerfed, instead of you figuring it out.The answer is to keep playing, and figure out how your kit can be used to counter a Mage. Everyone can, just figure it out before requesting something you don't like or understand be nerfed to make your life easier.
  13. You don't GET a strong shield while keeping both good damage and good utility, you simply do NOT have enough SP for it. The problem I was referring to? Is Mages can be killed 100% hp to 0% hp in a single critical skill hit. That aint squishy, that's gimped and dead. It's also written in the history of ROSE as fact, it happened. It's the EXACT reason mana shield was made. You have to use it when you're about to be under pressure, you have to actively use your brain in order to maintain it, and get a little bit of damage out, without going OOM. Mages aren't tank cannons anymore than this suggestion is from a place of rational and experience. If it's so easy to survive on a mage with Mana shield as a crutch, why don't you go do it. For the record, I'm being this aggressively defensive about it because Manashield is the only way a Mage can participate in dungeons due to massive AoE's and DoT's that would destroy a mage without it. The last thing I'll be quiet about, is a nerf request for pvp that ruins a class for pvm. I won't be quiet about it. Learn to use a stun or mute to beat a mage, or focus it down. You'd do the same for a Raider. Stop treating Mage [and for that matter artisan/bourg] as if they're supposed to be your free kills. Toxic mentality.
  14. I will say this. Mana Shield was created to fix a problem. A problem that will come back if you nerf it / remove it. This is my "warning" on the matter.
  15. You need to actually use crowd control and utility in pvp. You can stun them during the cast, silence them, dispel it ,sleep them, or focus them. You think a Mage's Barrier is bad, Try focusing down a Cleric fully tanked out and spamming self heals. Or 1v1 a Katar in full dodge. Games not even out and people are already expecting to left click someone and win.
  16. Ok well, it was obviously a joke, if you can't handle that and think it's toxic, you are going to be shocked when you stream this game. And I agree, however, that won't stop people's speech bubbles from displaying on your screen. A temporary fix is to simply have an overlay over the chat, like I and many others do. If that doesn't suit you, then sadly your best option is to drag it off screen. As was mentioned, you can also reduce it's size so the overlay isn't as big.

  19. The only thing it gets, is a sense of perceived revenge on the players who've reached end-game and have been grinding diligently to be the best. It's rather childish tbh.
