  1. I have not played mage this on this iteration of Rose online, but I have a hard time believing you're sacrificing not getting a ton of power skills to get this ability, It costs 5 skill points to max out It's hard for me to believe you would be significantly stronger if you hadn't spent those 5 skill points. (And that's assuming your maxing it out) I am not saying at all that mages are supposed to be a "free kill" or easy class to kill, even without mana shield, they are absolutely not easy. I played Rose NA for a long time, I remember them performing very well and still being extremely overpowered infact without mana shield. With that being said, I do not have the mentality mages are weak and supposed to be an easy class to kill by any means. Mages were designed to be squishy, and extremely strong like i said, each class has their strengths and weaknesses, one class should not have everything. And they could definitely balance this skill in PVM without affecting pvp, like i said i am unsure of how this skill performs in PVM, My perspective is only toward PVP. And I am not saying they should remove it, just balance the skill it is ridiculously over powered and mages can literally out tank knights with it, and keep re-applying it every time it breaks.. And no, it does not add much strategy to the class, and require you to use your brain very much as you mentioned, You simply have to press the button every take it, breaks, and make sure you have enough mana and you're invincible. Infact I think it takes away a lot from the class and makes them way easier than intended, and makes you use your brain even less.
  2. Like I said, I have not experimented with this ability in PVM, I am not even a mage. I only know this from pvp, it takes multiple people to simply break the mages mana shields, and they can just pop it again and have close to 100% uptime It’s very unfair and over powered in pvp. I do not know how it is in PVE
  3. You mean the “problem” of mages being squishy? That is not a problem, it is how the class was designed, they are meant to be glass cannons, extremely strong but squishy. Every class has their weaknesses and strengths, that is what makes the class unique and balanced.
  4. This skill is absolutely ridiculous in pvp, haven’t had as much experience with it in pve as I’m not a mage but I’ve pvped vs them, it takes multiple people to destroy a mages mana shield, and when it is destroyed they can just pop it again as if nothing happened. Mages can no joke tank better than knights and do 3x their damage it is very unfair. Most of the time, I can’t even destroy a mages mana shield before he kills me.. Please nerf this skill do something, maybe give it a 5 minute cooldown from when you used it last idk but it needs to change it’s really OP! Thanks
  5. These game modes are basically identical, attackers destroy the defenders crystals and defenders try to defend.. They should have never been made two seperate game mode options, They should simply be combined and when you do CD or AA combined whatever you wanna call it, you have the chance to join the AA map or the CD map, Because basically the only differences in the modes are the maps, they should just be combined and given a random one as somone chooses that. All it's doing currently is seperating groups and making for much less consistent matches. Basically anytime i join CD there are 1 maybe 2 players on my team and somtimes 1 somtimes none on the enemy, and AA i join and there are 8 at most on each team, I think if they were combined there would be a higher chance to get a close to full group and the game mode would be MUCH more fun. Lots of the time in AA, and CD even if there is nobody defending on the other side, even if you have a group of 4-5 we cannot destroy the crystals in the time limit because they are way too strong. Especially in this EA release Queue is very glitchy and there are not very many max levels able to participate in such endgame, so i think it would be much more enjoyable for everyone if one of these game modes were just removed and they were combined. Please take this into consideration, I truly think it will enhance so many players experiences and be healthy for the long run of the game, creating more consistent matches. Thanks!
  6. Absolutely, these repeatable quests ruin the leveling experience in their current form and make it so much more tedious, and less challenging.. Before these repeatables gravity added, mob exp was significantly higher than what it is now, and also single quests were viable aswell. Now they force mob grinders to do quests because it’s the most efficient way of leveling and mob grinding/ questing are the same thing.. so many incredible maps go completely unused because there are only like two repeatables per zone at most and because of that people only level at that 1 map.. this leads new players believe the game is a lot smaller than it is and has less maps because they’re simply not used and this also discourages exploring the incredible maps. Basically over 70% of this games maps are completely untouched and wasted assets due to these repeatable quests. Disregarding all this, it takes so much of the challenge out of the game. You used to rely on ur characters strength and parties to mob grind and have a good party to group kill, now all you have to do is single kill mobs and you can easily get your quest done to go to the next. You’re always on the go and you don’t stay with ur pt. It just ruins the leveling experience IMO and I’m very worried how new players will respond to this and how fast they will be burnt out.. especially considering one of my new friend told me how small this game is already because all players are basically confined to a small amount of maps due to it being the most efficient way to level, repeatables.
  7. Pretty sure a few hours ago you were saying you were happy bones have been nerfed and have proffited on them yourself..? You are an interesting character.
  8. PTR (Public test realm) Servers are popular in lots of games in the MMORPG genre and allows for the developers and community try out new updates before it goes to the live server. This would be beneficial I think not only to test and see how players respond to the updates, but also to see how the old code responds to the new code. This would be a completely seperate client, so there would be no need to take the live servers offline due to a problem with the new code interacting poorly with the old, We would know it from the PTR and people would still be able to play the live servers while preparing the patch for live. I think also it would be extremely beneficial to see how people respond to certain updates and get their feedback on it. The only downside I see to this, is it will split up the community a little bit some may choose to play on the PTR. While that may be true, that is their choice, and unless it is a big update that is fun to test and worth it, they are probably less likely to play on it. for example on new world, there are not a lot of people who test unless it is a really huge update that people will enioy, but that is irrelevant and does not matter as much, as long the developers are able to test on it without taking the live servers down to test new indurations, it serves its purpose and is extremely beneficial because they don't have to inconvenience the community with taking the servers offline. What do you think? Thanks, See you ingame Rosarians
  9. I would agree to removing repeatable quests if it meant also increasing exp from monsters, but just up and removing them i disagree with It's a ridiculous grind to level and that is the only thing that makes it manageable.. I'm pretty sure that's what they did, they decreased monster experience significantly and placed the high exp on to repeatable Which is very tedious, and reduces diversity in spots to level at because there are not repeatables at every single spot. I completely agree with this if they were to just increase base exp of monsters. Without, I think it would be much more miserable to level (It already it an extreme grind) It does not need to be more grindey.
  10. duel clienting is not cheating at all it has been allowed since the beginning of rose online. Infact, we used to be able to multi client 6+ clients but now we are limited to 2 which is a good thing over 2 is unnecessary and just enables botters. Lots of people like to be able to solo easier and have 2 clients and get the extra support and buffs and level multiple characters at once, or even just craft for your second char or vend while leveling. It's totally legit and people should have the option to do it.
  11. That is incorrect it only lets you open 2 clients. You can open as many launchers as you want, but it will only allow you to play 2 game clients.
  12. nobody would play cleric if they disable duel clienting. People only use them to support their other character, They are not fun at all and are stressful anymore with no buffs and such weak heals. And if you dont want to duel client then don't It should be an option and has since the beginning of rose. You new players have terrible suggestions.
  13. I love this idea and players could see what others rated that quest and determine on weather it’s worth their time depending on what grade it got. This would definitely help players know what is worth the time and what is not. And to add theM being added to leaderboards, players could compete to do that quest the quickest. Love the idea I hope the devs keep an eye on it!
