Greetings everyone,

I hope you are all doing well! 🙂 Today, we are giving information and opening up registration for our very first Clan vs. Clan event! We have heard the community loud and clear and one of the things spoken about is having a CvC (no passives) so that clans are able to show their dominance to the community. We have released the game for Early Access on 13 DEC 2022 and it’s amazing to see how far everyone has come - even better to see everyone test their clans might! Please read the post in its entirety!

This event will take place over 2 weekends. The dates are: 1-2 July (Sat/Sun) and 8-9 July (Sat/Sun).

The dates will remain if there are a large amount of participants who sign up. If there aren’t, then the amount of days will be reduced.

The event will be scheduled for 8AM EST/12PM GMT.

CRITERIA:

  1. This event will be 8 vs 8.
    • The choice of 8 vs 8 was made to ensure inclusivity for clans of all sizes. Increasing the number would result in some clans feeling excluded. By opting for 8, we strike a balance that allows each job to participate while accommodating a variety of clan sizes.
  2. There will be no entry limitation
    • What does this mean? This means that there is no cap on the amount of clans that can partake. If we have 6 clans sign up, we will proceed with 6 clans. If we have 64 (like the Nintendo), we will proceed with 64 clans.
    • If there is an odd number of clans, the LAST clan to sign up will be on standby. This clan will be allowed to participate in the event another clan is a no show or all of their players are not present in time for a match.
      • If all clans/players show up, the last clan will not be able to participate. So sign up as early as possible!
  3. Only the Clan Master or the Deputy Master can enter the clan into the tournament.
    • This will allow clans to participate even though the Clan Master may be unavailable for whatever reason. Clan Master's place a great trust in their Deputy's, so it seems appropriate for them to be able to sign the clan up for the tournament.

RULES:

THERE ARE NO RULES!

Just kidding. On a more serious note, we are trying to limit the rules as much as possible and give the clans the options to do whatever they'd like. This is for the community, after all.

  1. All players must be above level 240.
    • This is because level 240 is the last requirement for end-game gear. If players want to forego those last 10 skill points, they're free to do so! Just remember, this is your choice!
  2. HP/MP/buff pots are allowed as the game intends.
    • There are already cooldowns associated to these consumable items. Players will have to remember to use them sparingly.
  3. Reviving will be allowed!
    • This is part of the game and it would not be good to limit any players' skills. It would not be fair for cleric's to have their skills limited and not other classes, so all skills are allowed.
  4. Only 2 of the same classes are allowed on a team. Dual wield and katar raiders are still raiders. Same applies to battle clerics and clerics.
  5. If a player disconnects, then they're out of the current match. If that players clan ends up winning the match, then that player can return for future matches.
  6. Once a player joins a clan they cannot join another clan. You must remain in the same clan throughout the tournament. Only 1 character is allowed per person.
  7. Only 1 clan is allowed per entry. No “dummy” clans are allowed.

PRIZES:

On top of being able to call yourselves the first 2023 Clan vs. Clan Champions, 1st place winners will receive

  • A Clan uniform (shirt/shorts and shoes). The shirt will feature the clans emblem on the front and will state "Summer 2023 CvC Champions" (or something similar) beneath the emblem. This will be available to all clan members.
  • 2000 ROSE Points for use in the item mall. This will be available to only the participants.

2nd place winners will receive: 1500 ROSE Points for use in the item mall.

3rd place winners will receive: 1000 ROSE Points for use in the item mall.

Now, if you are ready, please head over to this topic to sign your clan up!

Hello everyone,

It was brought to our attention, by @Phish_ and @DoubleRose, that the current rules may have a significant impact on needlessly prolonging the matches. With that being said, we are going to implement the following change:

1. Each clan will be limited to having players with two of the same job classes. A battle cleric and full support cleric are the same job category, so keep that in mind. Same is true for dual wield and katar raiders.

The rules will be reflected with the change. Thank you for your understanding.

Hello everyone,

Just to be clear, those who were affected by this recent ban wave are automatically disqualified from participating in this event.

This is to say that if your account was banned for one month, you will not be able to join. Even if your ban is lifted prior to the event.

Thank you for your understanding.
