Hello all, We will soon be releasing a new security measure to provide extra protection for your ROSE Online game account. When signing into a game account for the first time from a new device, you will receive an email with a special link to authorize access before being able to log in to the game. Once a device has been authorized you will be able to login normally. This security measure is designed to prevent unwanted access to your game account in the event your game password has been compromised. It is imperative that if you receive an email for a sign in attempt but you did not attempt to join the game, that you do NOT click the link and change your password immediately. For more information about all the account security methods please visit: https://forum.roseonlinegame.com/account-security/ How it works The first time you sign in from a new device you will see this message: Before being able to continue, you will need to check the email inbox associated with the account for a verification email. It will look like this: Clicking the verification link will take you to the website. If you are not logged in at the website, you will need to login to the account that you are trying to log in to the game with. You will then be prompted to save your device details: After providing a name for this device and clicking "Save Authorized Device", this will now appear on your profile and you will be able to log in to the game using the game client. If you have any issues or questions please reach out to the team at https://support.roseonlinegame.com. Multiple Accounts Players are allowed to have multiple accounts (although only two can be used simultaneously per person as per our rules). We highly encourage people with multiple accounts to take advantage of a special feature that most major email providers offer that allows them to have different email addresses with a '+' sign that go to the same inbox. This can make it easier to manage account security across different accounts. For example: You use the email address [email protected] To register a new account you can use some of these email address and they will all go to your [email protected] inbox: [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] This feature is enabled for many email providers including gmail, yahoo and outlook. Good afternoon all, This patch is primarily targeted to fix the active issues with clans. However, we also resolved some transparency issues with items and changed the Arua/Hebarn dailies so they reset at a fixed time everyday rather than counting down 24 hours after completion. We've additionally introduced a new scroll for Ancient Oasis Shrine Thanks all for your patience. We will be enabling 2x clan point rewards for 48 hours to accommodate for the downtime related to clans. Hi Mucky, we just had a patch so possibly something went wrong. The best thing to do is to delete teh `updater` folder in your installation directory and re-run the updater

Hello everyone, the server is back online. We had an initial issue with the client protection that was causing signficant client lag. Unfortunatley we had overtuned it and missed this case in our testing but we have corrected the issue. If you client is still laggy please force an update by deleting trose.exe in your installation folder and repatching. Additionally, part of this patch was to deploy a new system on the backend to support the upcoming clan fields, unfortunately there was a slight oversight which caused the server to crash due to an unexpected condition. We have fixed this issue and things are back to normal. Thanks for your patience and see you in game!

Happy Easter all! Today's update is a bit more minimal than what you might have expected. We are deploying some needed back-end changes and bundled in a few updates as well. This update is a bit more modest because the team is actively working on some larger and more ambitious projects! In the spirit of keeping our community in the loop, we're thrilled to offer a sneak peek into two major projects that have been capturing our team's passion and creativity for the past several weeks: "Age of Zatana" and "Orlo Clan Field". We've provided some details below but for those more interested in a behind-the-scenes look into the development process please take a look at our Ko-Fi: https://ko-fi.com/rednimgames. Client Security The ROSE team takes game integrity very seriously and we are very active in moderating the game. Thanks to all our players who report suspected illegitimate behavior, we review each report regularly and take decisive action. We also regularly patrol various zones looking for players using more than 2 clients, automating gameplay and more. In this update we have added a new security layer to our game client that will help mitigate game abuse. Element Icons We have added an optional UI feature to see elements on equipment icons. This can be enabled/disabled from the options UI and is disabled by default. NPC Distance We have made a subtle change to NPCs to improve discoverability. All NPCs for a map will be visible from much further away allowing players to find NPCs and see quest indicators more easily. Our change also removes some hidden NPCs from appearing on the minimap. Work In Progress: Age of Zatana In our last update, we teased one of our new projects and today, we're excited to unveil further details! Age of Zatana is a new upcoming Orlo dungeon. Taking inspiration from community member Heatfist's original vision, we have started to craft a brand new map and dungeon experience. In Age of Zatana players will have to fight through a multi-stage dungeon filled with challenging and dynamic content in order to combat the Queen of Reptiles (Zatana). Players will have to cooperate, specialize builds and complete challenging tasks in order to earn rare and valuable rewards. This will be a HARD and challenging dungeon that will push even the strongest to the limits! After several weeks of work the base map and design is nearing completion. The team is actively working on the content for the dungeon and we are looking forward to continue sharing our progress in the coming weeks. Coming Soon: Orlo Clan Field We are happy to announce that we are working on a new clan field! Orlo Clan Fields is the focus of our next update and will include new and exciting content for players level 220-250. Orlo Clan Fields will be a high risk, high reward battlefield where only the strongest will survive. Clans will have to compete for access to rare bosses and to secure new loot and gear. Be prepared for epic battles as clans WAR for territorial space in this upcoming map!
