    They should only do a reset when they change so much to the game that the game cannot be compared anymore to the current situation. As long that is not the case a reset is not necessary. The changes so far are minor changes.

  2. Wouldn't it be better to show all weapons kinds as rewards regardless of class? Someone doing an odd class-weapon combo should have the possibility as well to choose his/her weapon of choice. Just to encourage the RPG part in MMORPG.

  3. What you can do, if it helps, use the Target Enemy-skill and then use Normal Attack-skill. Both can be placed on the hotbar (and use the keybinds for it) for easy target and attacking. This no mouse interaction is involved and you can attack much quicker. Use the mouse to rotate the camera and such.

  4. 100% agree.

    But the downside to this is that, I believe, there are no higher resolution versions of the ingame minimap. So new maps has to be made. And while doing it, fix the maps so the style matches across all maps. Currently all maps doesn't follow a single style. Makes it look messy.

  5. Give dungeons multiple difficulty levels

    For the benefit of everyone, from the solo player to the hardcore ROSE clans, it is a good idea to have multiple difficulty levels for the dungeons.

    The idea is as following:

    • Normal difficulty
      • For the solo player and casual party's.
      • This is the easiest level.
    • Heroic difficulty
      • Only for party's. Can't go in solo.
      • Mobs have a higher defense/attack to increase difficulty (like 15-20 levels above the normal difficulty).
    • Mythic Hebarn's Wrath difficulty
      • Only for party's. Can't go in solo.
      • Dungeon is scaled to max level and have an above heroic difficulty to increase difficulty even further.
      • Only for the toughest well organized groups to conquer.

    The Party Leader would be able to change the dungeon difficulty within the party settings before the party enters the dungeon. You cannot change the difficulty when you are inside a dungeon.

  6. I really dislike the way how masks/face items works now. The old way based on charm was a much better system.

    Now some, beautiful masks/face items, are not used by some classes as you don't need a certain stat. The old system where a Masks/Face items had a base charm and stats were random was much nices to have and made each Masks/Face item for every class.

    well remaking the game in unreal 5 would be sick, but it would take an excessive amount of time. Though it is copying from already existing "ideas" and some companies like benox redid crash team racing in another engine, so it is possible. But last thing i heard was there were no plans to remake it into a another engine, but if they do, devs pm me 😉 haha

    It's not a plan set in stone, but it is actually a wish they like to do if they have the time for it. The team want to focus on this game to run first.

    Easier navigation across the maps means rebuilding the maps, cause the flow must match on the story, quests, level req of mobs etc.. In that case the devs better can fullfill their wish to convert the game to Unreal Engine 5 and rebuild the maps from the ground up. A lot of work, but that do give the better result.

  9. Your logo has too much detail to properly use in the game. So a simplified version has to be made first. I believe it has to fit 20x20 pixels, very small.

    And then are guides on this forum you can follow to prepare the logo for use as clan logo.

  10. Good idea, but there is one problem. What if one item isn't there anymore, because of sold or trashed it already? So i would save the item price individually. I think it's enough if the system just remembers the last price you put in for an item. So if you add that item again, it just has the right price already.

    • If you add an item with additional stats (like crafted gear with stats or appraised gear), it just saves the price for that particular item. Another same item with different stats falls back on the default vendor price, so you have to put another unique price on that one as well.
    • If you add an item without additional stats (like default gear, consumables or materials), it saves the price for that. So if you add another unstatted item it knows your price already.

    Expanded version: Linking in chat to items, characters and url's (except blacklisted sites ofc).
    How it works: Have cursor in chatbox and SHIFT + leftclick on the character or item you want to link. You see bracketed, like: [Bird Feather]

    If another person linked it you can:

    • Item
      • Leftclick: open item details
      • middle click: copy item name
      • Rightclick: dropdown with option to add it to your buy list or preview it on your character (if it's gear).
    • Character
      • Left click: whisper the character
      • middle click: copy character name
      • Right click: dropdown with option to invite to party/clan, to whisper to that person and to add as friend.
    • URL
      • Clicking or right clicking on url copies it to the clipboard so you can paste it in your browser or use it elsewhere.
  12. Modern MMO's use an map instancing method against overpopulation. This means if a certain amount of players are on a map and new players are moving into the same map a new instance of the map will be opened. As player you won't notice that there are more instances of the same map. Players from the same clan, same party and friends will be placed in the same instance to focus on playing together. This system is usually disabled for cities and other player hubs.

    It would be cool if the devs can build this into ROSE, but the server architecture must support this.
