HoneyBuns Posted July 23, 2023 Share Posted July 23, 2023 There are two events in Rose this month. Magic is Everywhere runs from Aug 1 – Aug 31 and the Back-to-School event Aug 20 – Sept 8. Check in Event Guides for more info on those. There are no costumes to go with the “My Little Pony” theme (other than the hats and tails you can get from the event), but we do have some cute school sets. We have some new costume weapons! These are totally new, designed by our very own @HugeMalaka! These weapons will be permanently in the Item Mall. WEAPONS There are four weapon tabs – Soldier, Hawker, Dealer, Muse. Note that the bowgun and shield are listed in both the Soldier and Hawker tabs, since both of those job classes can use them. Remember that in order to use a costume weapon, you must have a weapon of the same type equipped on the avatar tab. Here are all of the costume weapons that are currently available. SPECIALS > SEASONAL Return to class in style this month with some school looks that have a definite fall feeling. This month we also have the Cheerleading and Football uniforms and some very special backpacks that old NA players will recognize. To celebrate World Honeybee Day (August 19 this year), we have a very special costume. The 4 gorgeous Butterfly Wings are in the Item Mall for one more month, as are the Firefly Wings. Check the spoiler below. Spoiler S Class High School Set is a preppy look with ears instead of a normal hat. You’ll fit right in at Hogwarts with this Wizard Set. Don’t forget the Wizard’s Glasses in EQUIPMENT> MASKS to complete the look. The Cadet Set comes in four colors and each one has a matching backpack. Shown here is the Blue Cadet Set. Lead your team to victory in the Cheerleading Uniform. It comes in 5 colors. Shown here is the purple set. Pair the Cheerleading Uniform with one of the Football Sets. Each box contains the full set and this month, four of those sets fit with the event theme/season. Spoiler Some long time Rose players will remember these. The male model is wearing the Navy Magic School Look and the female model is wearing the White Magic School Look International Dog day and International Cat Day are both in August. EQUIPMENT SPECIALS This month's non-event themed offerings include the Samurai Set in white and Pink Karate Set. Think Optimus Prime without the fur. Be sure to preview this set with Beta Mach B-12 Wings and Mech Wings R-74 that are available this month in EQUIPMENT>BACK to complete the look. Battle in style in the Noblesse Tyrant Set. The Traditional Set is a slightly different take on the basic oriental sets we've seen so far. Dance fever might hit you when you wear the Crazy Twenties Set, inspired by flappers from years ago. Is a Woopie a dog or a coyote? We know they do like to eat. Impress other players and fool the monsters in these Woopie sets. Woopie King Woopie Chef. Complete the look with the Woopie Chef's Kitchen Knife. It's a one-handed costume weapon. BASIC ITEM MALL INFORMATION -Item Mall storage is free (no zulie cost) and unlimited. When you place an item into this storage, the next storage page appears. You will never run out of room for your Item Mall costumes. You can also place utility items like Shop Looks, Saturunes or Glow Painters into Item Mall storage. -Preview is an easy way to see how costumes will look on your character. Click on the Preview tab on the side of the Item Mall Window. Then click on any wearable item in the IM. You can move freely between the tabs and create your own unique look. The circular arrows on either side will turn your character around so you can see the back and sides as well as the front view. Press the “reset” button to remove items so you can start again fresh. -Refining Item Mall costumes does not cost zulie and your success is guaranteed but refine levels can NOT be removed. So please take a moment to try on your costume after each refine level and make sure you are happy with the glow.
