HoneyBuns Posted June 14, 2023 Posted June 14, 2023 There are a LOT of gems in the game. This is a list of the gems (and what they affect) to help players know what’s available so they can decide what they want/ need. First some general gem information. 1- Gems can only go into specific slot(s) on gear. That info can be found on each gem. Other than the gems that are crafted by an artisan, the rest of the gems in the game have one of the following words in their names and that word indicates where you can put it: Asscher - Foot Baguette - Arms Briolette - Face Cushion - Body Marquise - Weapon Oval - Jewelry Pear - Head Round - Back Trilliant - Shield 2- There can be a gem OR a substat on an item, but not both. If you add a gem to an item with substats, only the gem stats will be in effect but the substats are not gone. If you remove the gem, the substats will be in effect again. 3- You can't place a substat on a gemmed item. 4- It’s difficult to remove a gem while keeping it intact. Even with the Separation Drill in the Valor Shop, there is a chance to fail, so keep that in mind when deciding whether or not to gem something. 5- For those people who gem costume items for the gem glow effect, I’ve included ss of each gem that can be put into a weapon or offhand and the glow in the spoilers below. Many times, the color of the gem or its icon will not indicate what color the glow is in the game. NOTE Gems on face, head, body, glove, back and foot items will not have a visible glow in the game. 6- Gems that are crafted can be used by characters of any level. All other gems in the game have minimum level requirements and those are indicated in each gem's description. CRAFTED GEMS All of these gems can go into Body, Weapon, Ring, Earring, Necklace and can be from Grade 1 - Grade 10 Garnet - Dexterity Ruby- Strength Sapphire -Concentration Topaz - Intelligence Emerald- Sense Peridot – Attack Speed Diamond – Attack Power Pink Opal - Defense Amethyst – Max HP Turquoise – Max MP Tanzanite - Critical Opal – Magic Defense Zircon – HP Recovery Rate Quartz – MP Recovery Rate Moonstone- Accuracy Jade – Dodge Rate Beryl - Charm Sunstone – Accuracy and Attack Speed Star Agate - Accuracy and Attack Power (can also be placed in Back) Star Quartz – Accuracy and Dodge Rate (can also be placed in Back) Spoiler GARNET RUBY SAPPHIRE TOPAZ EMERALD PERIDOT DIAMOND PINK OPAL AMETHYST TURQUOISE TANZANITE OPAL ZIRCON QUARTZ MOONSTONE JADE BERYL SUNSTONE STAR AGATE STAR QUARTZ VALOR SHOP GEMS These gems are all level restricted as follows:| Grade [1] level 100 Grade [2] level 140 Grade [3] level 180 Grade [4] Level 220 Grade [5] level 240 Pink Opal Briolette - Defense Opal Briolette – Magic Defense Zircon Asscher – HP Recovery Rate Zircon Trilliant – HP Recovery Rate Rose Quartz Pear – MP Recovery Rate Rose Quartz Trilliant – MP Recovery Rate Sunstone Pear – Accuracy and Attack Speed Sunstone Baguette- Accuracy and Attack Speed Star Agate Pear- Accuracy and Attack Power Star Agate Baguette – Accuracy and Attack Power Star Quartz Pear – Accuracy and Dodge Star Quartz Baguette – Accuracy and Dodge Star Quartz Asscher – Accuracy and Dodge Weilite Cushion – Inventory Capacity Weilite Round – Inventory Capacity Weilite Marquise – Inventory Capacity Weilite Oval – Inventory Capacity Spoiler ZIRCON TRILLIANT ROSE QUARTZ TRILLIANT HONOR SHOP GEMS These gems are all level restricted as follows:| Grade [1] level 100 Grade [2] level 140 Grade [3] level 180 Grade [4] Level 220 Grade [5] level 240 Moonstone Pear – Accuracy Moonstone Baguette – Accuracy Jade Asscher – Dodge Rate Jade Round – Dodge Rate Peridot Baguette – Attack Speed Tanzanite Baguette – Critical Amethyst Briolette – Max HP Turquoise Briolette – Max MP Turquoise Pear – Max MP MONSTER DROP GEMS These gems are all level restricted as follows Grade [1] no level Grade [2] level 20 Grade [3] level 40 Grade [4] level 60 Grade [5] level 80 Grade [6] level 100 Grade [7] level 120 Grade [8] level 140 Grade [9] level 160 Grade [10] level 180 Grade [11] level 200 Grade [12] level 220 Grade [13] level 240 Enargite Briolette- Enhance Damage Enargite Baguette - Enhance Damage Enargite Marquise – Enhance Damage Rosasite Cushion – Damage Reduction Rosasite Asscher- Damage Reduction Rosasite Trilliant – Damage Reduction Citrine Marquise – Critical Damage Platinum Baguette – Pierce Defense Palladium Baguette – Pierce Magic Spectrolite Pear – Skill Power Spectrolite Marquise – Skill Power Hyalite Pear – Heal Power Hyalite Trilliant – Heal Power Malachite Baguette – Auto Attack Power Malachite Marquise – Auto Attack Power Gypsum Round – Summon Gauge Increase Opalite Trilliant – Offhand Magic Defense Braunite Trilliant – Block Rate Pink Opalite Trilliant – Offhand Defense Mesolite Asscher – Movement Speed Mesolite Round – Movement Speed Mesolite Oval – Movement Speed The following have 8 levels and these restrictions Grade [6] level 100 Grade [7] level 120 Grade [8] level 140 Grade [9] level 160 Grade [10] level 180 Grade [11] level 200 Grade [12] level 220 Grade [13] level 240 Hopeite Cushion – HP from Restore Effects Melonite Round – MP from Restore Effects Studtite Briolette – Stun Resistance Sassolite Briolette – Mute Resistance Sugilite Briolette – Sleep Resistance Spoiler ENARGITE MARQUISE ROSASITE TRILLIANT CITRINE MARQUISE SPECTROLITE MARQUISE HYALITE TRILLIANT MALACHITE MARQUISE OPALITE TRILLIANT BRAUNITE TRILLIANT PINK OPALITE TRILLIANT DUNGEON GEMS The following do not have level restrictions. In my opinion, the glows look a lot better in the game than they do in these images but at least this gives an idea of the color of these gem glows. 4 5

Example, Maximum Item Drop Quantity, does it mean that when I have such GEM, instead of usual 1 item drop, it would be multiplied or increase? Are those drop properties add up like if I have all of those in my avatar, each "stat" if we may call them like that, will all add up and make my avatar somewhat "lucky" with regards to Drop Items? Just curious and hoping to be enlightened because we can't just go with Trial and Error there as those Gems all cost a fortune to acquire specially for us lowbies... We need to be sure for us to prioritize GEMs that would be beneficial when acquired and used. Edited July 25, 2023 by HLAJR
Zurn Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 So the way this rose drop system works is you kill something and each tier has a chance to drop something all at once. So you add the quantity gem +1 chance and it just does a second roll on all the tiers. Which means you can get 2 of each tier potentially. the drop gem (uncommon/common/ect) just increases the chances you get a drop from that tier during the roll Does that make sense? 1 1

By default, let’s say you can only get Angel feathers (3) at max and (1) at minimum. The max item drop quantity will increase the max (in this case 3) to whatever value the gem gives. So if the gem gives: [Max Item Drop Quantity 3], then now you can get Angel feathers (6) and still (1) for minimum. This gem does not effect items that are weapons, equipment, or anything else that doesn’t have a ( ) when you pick up the item. For the drop gems, Zurn explained it above. 1 1
Nutaharion Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 Hey guys, I am quite new in Rose and I have a question. I have read that gems of lower grade can be used to create the higher grade but is it possible to use MONSTER DROP GEMS to create higher versions of it? Eg can 2x Citrine Marquise grade [4] be used to create 1x Citrine Marquise grade [5]? Thank you and see you in game

Gems that drop from monsters can not be upgraded. If you have other game questions, feel free to message me here at the forum or on Discord.
