Yes, it's part of the Episode Quest once you get to Luna after you kill Varus, Behemoth thing and his brother you get given a piece of jewellery after you finish that part of the quest.

Bobbity is correct. The Shadow Moon set id given bit by bit in the main quest once on Luna. Each piece gives 10 Sen and when all 3 pieces are worn out gives an extra stat relating to the job class. I've just been through with my Raider so if worn I get extra Dex stat.

Any Gargoyle gives the feathers. You don't get feathers with every kill but Fighters/Hunters and Shaman definitely give it. Ordinary Gargoyles are blue for me so I don't touch them but still complete the quest.

Did you ever figure this out? I now have the same problem, I have completed the other 2 quests, Dr Ega tells me what I need to do and I accept but the quest doesn't show up in my log and I have free space for a quest

Makes sense. I level at Forest of Wandering rather than Marsh so can only go by what I've seen on that map.

Something I realised last night after posting was that in all the mobs I've been killing for Legendary gear, not once has a Unique dropped.

Legendary 200 gear definitely drops on Eldeon from Captain and Leaders. Maybe you are farming the wrong mobs. Edit - The only Legendary 200 gear I haven't seen drop on Eldeon is Dealer gear.

I'm no expert but I find my Katar hawker pretty easy to level. Attack power may be low but attack speed is much higher and she just slices through the mobs. Currently at level 115, soloed all the way. My soldier hits a lot harder but is slow.

Yes. He will ask you to make a delivery to Adventure Plains and then you will be asked to go back to Zant and you can keep doing this back and forth.
