From what I've seen, it is possible to get substats on the Black Santa. Event costumes are not meant to be anything other than cosmetic but some can be used by new/low level characters for a while as armor if they want.

Correct. There are no more costume bonuses. Yeah the Black Santa Set is the only one with stats on all of the parts.

Mounts are a fun way to get around ingame. You do not lose buffs when riding a mount like you do when driving a cart. However, you CAN be knocked off your mount if you’re attacked by a monster. Mounts will be character locked when used and some have level restrictions. If no level restriction is listed, that means you can use the mount at any level. All mounts have 1500 movement speed. If your clan has the Stable Training passive, your mount will be faster. Here are the different ways to get a mount. Check the spoilers to see how the mounts look in the game. Yeah it hasn't been open since early access started. It will be opened at some point after some changes are made.

In addition to the job class skills, there are also some unique skills in ROSE. Some of these skill books can be found in the Valor and Honor Shops; some are possible monster drops and some are rewards for killing the boss in a dungeon. These skills have prerequisite skill requirements and job class requirements. It can all get pretty confusing, so hopefully this list will help you plan what you want/need for your characters. Remember to check to see if you have the required prerequisite skill(s) before buying a skill from Honor or Valor. Abbreviations for the dungeons are as follows: CoU = Cave of Ulvrick, HoO = Halls of Oblivion; SoD = Sea of Dawn; SC = Sikuku Catacombs. IMPORTANT: The unique skills are all consumables and you consume them when you activate them. Be careful when using the Unique Retraining Skill (the reset skill). If you decide to reset a unique skill to get the skill points back, you will need to get the skill book again if you change your mind in the future and want to add that skill back. This event was first added to the game in 2015, to celebrate 10 years of ROSE. We did not have this event last December, but it's back now and we are celebrating our first year of service! For those of us who have played ROSE for many years, this will be a bit like a trip down memory lane but with a twist. To get started, head to Adventurer's Plains and talk to [Visitor Guide] Arua's Fairy, located right outside of the spawn circle where you first entered the game. Talk to her about this exciting celestial event until you get the quest called "A Wild Birth Island Appears" Talk to her a second time and choose option 1 and you will be teleported to Birth Island. Birth Island is shaped like a star. The fairy will teleport you to the right "arm" of the star, based on your level. You'll see the usual monsters (Choropies and Jellybeans) BUT they will be scaled to your level. It's quite shocking to see those starter monsters with red names at level 250. Talk to the Fairy at the spawn area to get the event quest called "Rubber Duckin", There are five parts to this questline. NOTE: All of these images are from the max level section of Birth Island. They will be in similar locations in the other sections. Rubber Duckin (1) The Fairy tells you that she wants to prank the Scuba Moldies and she needs you to find their secret hideout. Run towards the center of the map to trigger the first drop. You do not have to go into the water to get it. Rubber Duckin (2) Return to the Fairy with your map of the secret hideout. Now the Fairy needs some ingredients so start killing Jellybeans until you get 10 Stale Mana Jams. This may take awhile. Be sure to pick up any Rubber Duckies that drop from the mobs. You can exchange them for some neat event items Rubber Duckin (3) When you finally have the 10 Stale Mana Jams, return to the Fairy. She gives you her Magical Metal Detector and asks you to find her Ancient Hammer. This works like the Inspection Kit from the Thanksgiving event quest, if you did the daily quest during that event. Drag the item from consumables to your skill bar. When you get a system message that the detector is beeping and there might be something nearby, keep walking around using the skill until you get the hammer and go back to the fairy Here are the four general areas that I found the hammer. Rubber Duckin (4) Return to the Fairy with the hammer. She asks for help to gather the final ingredient for this prank. This time you have to kill Choropies but luckily you only need 5 drops. Return to the Fairy for the final part and don't forget to pick up those Rubber Duckies. Rubber Duckin (5) Finally, it's time for the prank. The Fairy gives you a Magical Rubber Ducky. It looks the same as any normal Rubber Duckies you might have in consumables so be sure to use the right one. Get the "Target Enemy" skill from the basic skill tab and drag it to your skill bar, along with the Magical Ducky then head to the middle of the map This time go into the water and wait for the Moldies if they are not already there. When they appear, first click on the Target Enemy skill then on the Magic Ducky. You will throw the ducky at the targeted Moldie and it seems that it succeeds every time. When you have pranked 8 Moldies, return to the fairy for the last time and claim your reward. The Anniversary Set is banana type but because it's an event item, Jupiterunes are required to refine it. You can get Jupiterunes by disassembling other event items. Btw, the costume hat is earrings on both genders. You're probably wondering what you can do with all of those Rubber Duckies that you collected while doing this event quest. Check in the spoiler below. Happy Anniversary, Roserians!!

Two fun events in ROSE this month. Information on the Christmas Event can be found here. Information on the other event will be posted when that event starts. But what about the Item Mall? There is plenty of excitement in December and topping the list are the Faith Weapons. If you missed getting your favorite in June, now is your chance to own the one you always wanted back at NA. These very big costume weapons will be available during the month of December. To get you into the holiday mood, we have several Christmas related sets and the Christmas costume weapons. Santa also brought the old WP mascot costumes and their matching backpacks (Pogo's costume is in the Summer Festival but the Pogo Backpack is available this month in the IM). And one "footnote" (pun intended). Starting this month, the Yellow Rubber Boots will be in the Item Mall permanently. Since we don't have a shoe tab (because of how clothing is coded in the game, most foot items are not compatible with other sets), you will find these adorable shoes in EQUIPMENT > MASKS. Let's get right to it! The items that will only be in the Item Mall for the current month are now on the Featured Tab. They will also be in their respective tabs (Specials > Seasonal for the event themed offerings and Equipment > Specials for the non-themed items). Now you can just check to see what’s new each month as soon as you open the Item Mall Window (Alt + B) FAITH WEAPONS In the following ss, the female model’s weapons are all refined (1) with a Citrine Marquise [13], to show the gem placement. The male model is displaying the Broad Axe with gem placement. Both models are wearing Festival Worker’s Jacket (EQUIPMENT > BODY) and Yellow Rubber Boots (page 3 of EQUIPMENT > MASKS ) Some costume weapons are so big that it's difficult to see them in Preview, so check the spoilers below to get a better look. Broad Axe CHRISTMAS WEAPONS In the following ss, the female model’s weapons are all refined (1) with a Garnet [7] to show gem placement and Rosasite Trilliant [13] in the offhands. The Gingerbread House Axe is shown on the male model with an Enargite Marquise [13] to show gem placement. SEASONAL COSTUMES Now for my favorite part- the costumes! Of course we have a traditional holiday look but if that's not your style, check in the spoiler below for some other fun event themed sets. In the following ss, the female's costumes are all refined (1). Santa Look Set NON-THEMED COSTUMES We have a variety of non-holiday costumes this month, including the Black Power Suit and this adorable and unique Flor Set. For more costume options, check in the spoiler below. NOTE: The female model's sets are all refined (1). WINGS This month we offer Astarot Wings in the expected holiday colors (Red and Green) and some other special color variations. We have the "element" wings (Fire, Nature, Ice) and Angelic Wings in Pink and White, Crystal Wings, Gold Seraph Wings and a few others as well. Shown here is Santa's Helper with Wings of Nature. Check the spoiler for some other wing/costume possibilities. Remember, we have a basic selection of wings and other back items in EQUIPMENT > BACK. BASIC ITEM MALL INFORMATION -Item Mall storage is free (no zulie cost) and unlimited. When you place an item into this storage, the next storage page appears. You will never run out of room for your Item Mall costumes. You can also place utility items like Shop Looks, Saturunes or Glow Painters into Item Mall storage. -Preview is an easy way to see how costumes will look on your character. Click on the Preview tab on the side of the Item Mall Window -Then click on any wearable item in the IM. You can move freely between the tabs and create your own unique look. The circular arrows on either side will turn your character around so you can see the back and sides as well as the front view. Press the “reset” button to remove items so you can start again fresh. -Refining Item Mall costumes does not cost zulie and your success is guaranteed but refine levels can NOT be removed. Don't be discouraged. I finally got one part 5 yesterday.

Hi if you already started the quest and then abandoned it, you need to talk to the NPC that you last spoke to before you abandoned the quest. An easier way might be to just make a new character on your account and do the quest on that character. The Junon Mask can be put into account storage so any character on the account can use it.

I still haven't gotten part number 5 either but there are Turkey Shooters around so other people are getting it. I was told its random. Congrats on getting yours!

Those three spots are where the tracks might be. Every day when you do that quest, the spot might be different but it will be in one of those three general areas.

From my experience, yes. Seems that even if you don't actually view each new "clue" you still have to wait until you've unlocked it before you can get the quest drop.

Type slower and make sure you are typing your email and password correctly. Remember that passwords are case-sensitive.

It has to do with symbols on some of the letters.

I think that might be the problem. The game only recognizes English letters and numbers 0 - 9.

Welcome back! All four job classes have buffs and those are shared when you're in a party. We have free stat and skill resets now. Open the skill window then click on the Item Mall tab, Those three skills with a red X on them are the resets. If you did not add points to your buffs, you can easily do that at any time. Normally I recommend following the quests. They not only move you through each map, but often reward with useful items like armor or weapons. You're already past level for the first ones but if you're in Zant, talk to Lena near the entrance from Luxem. She has one quest to kill hornets and once you finish that, she should give you a quest called "Welcome to Zant". That quest is a lot of talking to various NPC's but the reward is a job class specific weapon. If you're already past Zant, there are quests in Breezy Hills. The first NPC you see when you enter Breezy has some and the NPC's in that little town across the bridge also have some. In El Verloon there is a questline that will eventually take you into Anima Lake and that series of quests will reward you with a job class specific, level 40 armor set with experience boosts. This is a list of most of the quests in the game, if you want to look ahead. Repeatable quests are a good way to earn extra experience while you're already fighting the same monsters.
