What's the name of the quest(s) and which NPC starts it?

You should have an email from Rose stating the reason. If you can't find that, please make a Support Ticket.

There is no set that's given as a reward for any quest anywhere but there are two accessory pieces that are rewards from quests on Luna. Those are listed in the last spoiler.

Like @rayun said, make that trose is an exception in your anti-virus program. If that doesn't work, close everything, go to your Rose installation folder and delete the "updater" folder and then run the launcher again.

The Item Mall has been updated!

It sounds like something is blocking a connection on your end. Make sure that trose and rose-updater are exceptions in both your anti-virus program and firewall. I have to add them manually every time we have a patch. In this topic, there is a link to download Microsoft Webview2 and be sure that Microsoft Edge is installed on your pc. See if that fixes it.

This is a fun event with some unique and different quests. We have a bunch of Halloween costumes in the Item Mall this month. As mentioned in the October Item Mall Update Topic, the 5 boxed sets on the first page of the Featured Tab (Fable, Fairy Tale, Love Story, Storybook and Tea Party) have special event quests connected to them. The other Halloween costumes in the IM (Devil, Frankenstein, Mummy, Vampire, Werewolf, Wicked, and Zombie) also have a special connection in this event. More about all of that in a bit. During this event, monsters around your level can drop a Spooky Looking Box. It will go into the consumables tab. NOTE: Before you start opening these boxes, be sure you have several spaces in consumables as well as some in the equipment tab. Spooky Looking Boxes will contain one of the following: Halloween Candy Bag Halloween Grab Bag Candle Ghost Summon Scary Looking Box Check in the spoiler below to see what could be in each of the Halloween Bags and the Scary Looking Box. HALLOWEEN ACTIVITIES HALLOWS EVE JUNON INVASION During the Halloween Event, each (ingame) night, [Guard] Odelo will shout in Junon Polis that the city is being invaded! There will be a boss as well as a bunch of minions. Here are old NA screenshots of both Heburkal and his Pet. There is a chance of the bosses dropping a mount so do your best to defend our fair city! Make your way to the gate and talk to [Guard] Winters. Pick option 2 "I have sworn to protect Junon Polis this Hallow's Eve. My weapon is marked with the blood of Heburkal's minions to prove it!" He will give you the quest called "Hallow's Eve Junon Invasion" By the time the NPC does the shout, the monsters will already be in the city. Get 5 monster proofs from killing whichever minions are there (Baby Arachnis or Heburkal's Minions), then turn the quest in to Winters during the daytime. The reward for doing this quest the first time is a Pumpkin Pail When you do the quest again, the reward is a Halloween Candy Bag. So what to do with this cute Pumpkin Pail? Trick or Treat, of course. TRICK OR TREAT IN ZANT Equip your Pumpkin Pail on the avatar tab (not costume) and talk to the NPC's in Zant at night in the game. Choose the option "Trick or Treat" and they will give you either a Halloween Candy Bag or a Halloween Grab Bag. Information on what those can contain is in the first spoiler of this guide. QUESTS Head over to Adventurer’s Plains. You’ll notice an NPC named Edeline sitting on a turtle near the big pumpkin. Talk to her and pick the option “Trick or Treat” to start the quest “Waiting for the Grand Pumpkin”. Check in the spoiler below for hints and help. The next quest is in Desert of the Dead. Don't worry, you won't have to actually enter DoD. For those of you that don't know where DoD is, the entrance is in Anima Lake. It's easy to find during this event because of the Halloween Banner. [Ghost] Harry is hanging out to the side of the actual entrance to DoD. Talk to him and follow the dialog asking about the Grand Pumpkin. You will get the quest called "The Grand Pumpkin's Return". You can get the seeds from pumpkins in DoD or the ones in the pumpkin patch in Adv Plains. Be warned- this will take awhile to finish. Return to Harry with the 100 seeds and he will give you a Pumpkin Cap. Info on the stats can be found in the first spoiler of this guide. This quest is not repeatable for the Pumpkin Cap. By the way, there really IS a Grand Pumpkin. It has nothing to do with any of these quests but if you want to check him out, go to DoD at this location. Back in Junon Polis (not during the night lol), Talk to the frog NPC in the center of the city near Mayor Darren, [Monster Coin Trader] Vedad. Choose the first option to get the quest called "Monster Collections" The Decrepit Smoulies are in Forest of Wisdom. The Coal Mine Moldies are outside of the farm by the city of Junon Polis The Elder Pumpkins are near the tower in Luxem The Assassin Rackies are in El Verloon The Kaiman Swordsman are in Kenji close to the entrance to Gorge of Silence Return to Vedad with all of the quest proofs and he will give you this Happy Halloween-Ghost T-Shirt FROZEN CORPSE You must be able to travel to Eldeon to do this quest (level 120) but honestly it will be pretty tough unless you're higher level. Start by talking to [Raknu Warrior] Jeffery Lloyd. He is the NPC in the center of Xita Refuge on Eldeon. Pick option 3 to get the first quest called "Investigate the Stumps" Then leave Xita and immediately go to the right to find the first stump. Keep walking in that direction (it's like behind the city walls) to find the second stump. Go back the way you came, past the city entrance and across the road to the other side to find the last stump. NOTE: These can be done in any order. When you have all three proofs, return to Jeffery This is what the stumps look like. You really can't miss them. Check the spoiler below for information on the rest of this quest. Remember at the beginning of this guide, I mentioned those boxed Halloween costumes in the Item Mall? Each one of them has a special event quest that you can get when you equip the full costume on the avatar tab. Each quest will reward you with an offhand item that goes with that specific set. Which version of Windows 11 do you have? The game only works with Windows 11 Home or Pro. Please check this topic for solutions to many launcher and game related issues.

I would say both have advantages. Champs have several aoe's which might make leveling a bit faster but knights are pretty good tanks. Have you tried using any of the swords just to see if you like that kind of fighting? Remember, we have unlimited, free stat and skill resets so you can experiment and see which feels better to you.

What is the default language for your Windows installation and keyboard settings?

Make sure you have space in consumables because it will go there automatically.

Only one event this month but it’s a fun one- Halloween! We have a LOT of costumes that fit into the Halloween theme and a big change in the Item Mall that you will notice right away. Starting this month, and from now on, the items that will only be in the Item Mall for the current month are now on the Featured Tab. They will also be in their respective tabs (Specials > Seasonal for the event themed offerings and Equipment > Specials for the non-themed items). Now you can just check to see what’s new each month as soon as you open the Item Mall Window (Alt + B) FEATURED SEASONAL The first five boxed costume sets in the Featured Tab are special sets that can be used during the upcoming Halloween event. Wearing one of these five sets as equipment (not costumes) will open a special event quest and the reward is an offhand that goes with the costume! More information will be in the Halloween Event guide when the event begins on October 13th Events Fable Set (Little Red Riding Hood) Fairy Tale Set (Snow White) Love Story (Beauty and the Beast) Storybook (Peter Pan) Tea Party (Alice in Wonderland) There are several other Halloween-themed sets this month plus assorted fun items with that spooky feeling. Look in the spoiler below to see the comparison of the three sizes of the wings mentioned above. -All models are wearing the Red Uniform. It can be found in EQUIPMENT > BODY -The female's wings are all refined (1) BASIC ITEM MALL INFORMATION -Item Mall storage is free (no zulie cost) and unlimited. When you place an item into this storage, the next storage page appears. You will never run out of room for your Item Mall costumes. You can also place utility items like Shop Looks, Saturunes or Glow Painters into Item Mall storage. -Preview is an easy way to see how costumes will look on your character. Click on the Preview tab on the side of the Item Mall Window. -Then click on any wearable item in the IM. You can move freely between the tabs and create your own unique look. The circular arrows on either side will turn your character around so you can see the back and sides as well as the front view. Press the “reset” button to remove items so you can start again fresh -Refining Item Mall costumes does not cost zulie and your success is guaranteed but refine levels can NOT be removed. The current system is much better. Instead of having to wait for a single event, you can take repeatable Valor quests from many NPC's on all four planets. Check this topic for more information on that.

You might be remembering Union Wars. They were removed from this version of the game years before the old official server closed. Here we have the Honor (PvP) and Valor (PvM) system.

In Rose, refining means to upgrade an item. It's a fairly complicated system, especially for new players so this is a basic guide on how to refine. Refining a piece of gear (armor, back item, weapon, shield, or off-hand) will improve the item’s base stats. It’s possible to refine items to (20). Each time you attempt a refine, you need the right material and each attempt after the first one costs zulie. As you refine to higher levels, the zulie cost increases too. Higher level gear starts with a higher zulie cost. Every item in the game has an Item Grade. You can find the Item Grade in the description of the item. Item Grade does not indicate the type of item (gloves, weapon, wings etc) but it’s important in refining because that determines which materials are needed. Types of Item Grades Refining Materials These are the NPC’s that can refine items: Choose the option “I would like to upgrade my item”. Zant-[Weapon Seller]Raffle Junon Polis- [Weapon Merchant]Crune Breezy Hills [Weapon Craftsman] Mairath Selba Village- [Blacksmith]Brock Magic City of Eucar, Luna Planet- [Smith]Pavrick Xita Refuge, Eldeon Planet- [Smith]Nel Eldora Sikuku Ruins, Eldeon Planet- [Smith] Koji Desert City of Muris, Orlo Planet- [Smith]Mahyr Ancient Oasis Shrine, Orlo Planet- [Lojala Smith] Ekblovo STEP 1- Drag the item that you want to refine to the refining window. Material- Check the Refining Materials spoiler ^ Catalyst- These slightly improve your chances of succeeding. Pink Powder, Purple Powder, Lisent Hg and Lisent U are all catalysts. It’s not necessary to add catalysts. Refine Enhancement- Venurunes will increase your chance of success by 10%. You can use up to two Venurunes per refine attempt. They can be purchased from the Honor Items Shop for 200 honor points each. Refine Protection- Plutorunes will reduce the penalty of a failed refine attempt by one step. If the penalty is to degrade (2), using a Plutorune will reduce that degrade to (1). If the penalty is to degrade (1), using a Plutorune will prevent any degrading. They can be purchased from the Valor Materials NPC for 400 valor points each. At the bottom of the refining window, you can see your success chance and the zulie cost. There is no zulie cost for the first refine. After that, the cost increases with each attempt and the success chance is lower. STEP 2- Add the correct material and any optional items (catalyst, refine enhancement, refine protection) and press "Begin" Here are a few ss using the Soldier Armor pictured above. As you can see, the success chance is lower with each attempt and the zulie fee increases. At one point (with higher level gear its usually around refine (5), you will get a popup message. You can continue or you can add a catalyst or refine enhancement or protection. NOTE: Items will no longer have a chance of being destroyed with a failed refining attempt. They will just degrade a refine level or two. This is a comparison of the stats of the Soldier Armor before and after it's been refined to (8). As you can see, the defense, magic defense and dodge stats have all improved. One other thing I forgot to mention, when you refine an item, it gets shinier. Many people refine even costumes to get that glow. This is the Judo outfit from the Item Mall refined (20) NOTE: If you use an artisan enhanced item (reinforced, endowed armor or darkened, hardened, balanced or enchanted weapon), make sure that the reinforcing (hardening etc) is done BEFORE you refine. If you refine an item then have it reinforced etc, you will lose the refine.

I just replaced the old ss from NA with a new one. The frigate you get from the quest is called Pirate Frigate and it has the blue striped flag in front and the black pirate flags in the back. The one you can get from the Frigate Box is called Blue Pirate Frigate and it has an X on the front flag and different flags in the back. Sorry for the confusion.
