The stats will stay, for costume it is purely cosmetic, it will just make your character look different however all the stats will stay. hopefully that is the question you asked lol 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

On the costume tab you can make gear look different and stats of the gear you use are ignored. You can only wear costumes which your character is elible to wear.
