  1. I think it could work either way. But far be it from me to question the crowd.
So if it does revert to a first hit only here's some concerns to design around possibly.
1: How long does the tag count. Can you tag the mob, tether it back to its spawn and afk until someone else kills it?
2: How does the tag count drop modifiers? Can you theoretically take a level 1 visitor to higher level maps, tag the mob and then immediately kill it with a max level character to get the best rates on uniques or materials? What about a level 100 Bourgeois with maxed stockpile?
3: How would taunt/sacri play into it. Does it count as a tag to apply taunt, or another status that doesn't apply damage?

Just some curious things to think about, and maybe some others but I can't think of them off the top my head. Just observing from a distance and thought it was an interesting conversation.

  2. Raider: Runs through room gathering mobs, fine.
Knight: runs through room gathering mobs, fine.
Cleric: runs through rooms gathering mobs, fine.
Champ runs through rooms gathering mobs, fine.

Mage runs through rooms gathering mobs, problematic.

Doesn't matter anyway. Balance in ROSE just means Raiders are the top class.I give up. Make it whatever you want. Enjoy your Scout and Cleric team.

Change mage's enhanced mana shield skill so it gives bonuses based on your active mastery stacks (fire/wind/water). Like fire could burn nearby enemies, frost could slow nearby enemies, wind periodically microstuns.

That sounds similar to one of the propositions Leonis made before he was unceremoniously disappeared from Warpportal. I never had any objections to elemental shields. And your suggestion is pretty close.

    Fire: Burns enemies on attack
Wind: Increased dodge-rate while shield holds
    Water: Magic Resistance up
Sorcery: [if changed to a pierce magic buff instead of magic defense down on target] Harmful Status Resistance up while shield hold.

    Stuff like that.
Mana Shield is overly relied upon, hence my post that was referenced by that troll earlier. Taking 50% of the shield potency [and probably SP cost] and shifted to other avenues would inadvertently buff Mages, as instead of only needing to counter 1 button, you'd need to counter more. So, while it is a sort of "crutch" for Mages, shifting it from Mana Shield to a diverse repertoire needs to be thought out before hand as Mages can go from stable to very much never played like before.

Are you being serious right now? Are we going to pretend like you weren't calling for Mage nerfs in 2017/18 on NARose for this exact same reason? Now you are playing a mage and you want to pretend like its not a problem?

You literally called for shield to be nerfed by 50% at one point. lul

You spent, all that time digging through archives to come at me with .... that....? Me saying it should be reduced by 50% and REPLACED WITH SOMETHING ELSE (A net loss of nothing...) Bercause they're too relied upon, NOT over powered. There is a difference.
This was also BEFORE they added in the re-cast cooldown of 4 seconds.

I don't know what's more apt for description, pathetic, or impressive.

Since this seems to be another sock-puppet account, might as well start collecting black-list registers. Welcome aboard chum. Maybe next time don't waste hours of your life to prove nothing and get ignored.

Protip Devs stop the problem now before you start hitting 25-50 billion for Ra accessories and 85 billion for a Enthroning set. The game died the second instant was added and normal means of farming died quickly after that. Trust me on this either you fix the problem now or face consequences of a dead server. I played one for 15+ years with the same gear the same problems and nobody did anything about it until it was to late.

Imagine having the same final gear for 15+ years and have to wait to get into instant with random chance boxes that took a average of two years to finish 🙂

Ra accessories? Enthroning set? 50billion - 85billion? What game are you playing, those aren't even items in ROSE.

Piggybacking off of this topic with regards to a similar problem with high lvls in a lower level zone to do repeatables.
Could we just get rid of the archaic first hit tagging system at this point?
I think it just sets the game up for failure since it introduces an upper cap of player where it becomes undesirable for newer characters to play when so many people are packed into one area for the same mobs.

I support this notion. If I'm there on my high level doing most of the damage to a king, I should get the drop, not some random level 34 who happened to click it first. And if I'm doing a quest, even more-so, it should be most damage done. If they want the proof, they should just do more damage.

What (affordable) gems and jewellery would you recommend for starters?

Spiderbite is decent, the PvM %'s are pretty potent. If it's PvP getting your Hirias and a decent 140 crafted bit is a nice start.
As for gems, boss drop gems (skill power and enhance) are a good start. Topaz for later can be an option, as well as Diamonds.
    I also recommend 25INT / 100 Dodge sub-stats, or 25 INT / max AP for non-wind mastery builds.

I see. Are the debuffs random? As the description does not specify any particular debuffs.

Or is it simply removing their buffs.

It randomly selects a buff yes, but any "buff" can be removed. "Stacks" cannot be removed via this method.

Am i the only one? This post actually answered nothing, no offense.

Did... you make an account, just to make this post? That's impressive.

The same ratio as we have here- 600 points at NA was about $6 USD.  500 Rose points is $5 USD.

Remember at NA we also had the Lucky Spin where you could spent tons just trying to get the specific costume parts. Here you can choose and only get the pieces that you want.

You could, but those items were also able to be traded on the open market. That's no longer an option.
