5.Active supports, devs is always good to have around, for a new player been friend with a dev is a cool filing
And not only for newbies, I remember back in the days there were months of playing w/o seeing single gm in game. It gave us feeling, they didn't care about the game, even more, that they played some other game instead
Some things are easily solved with gm presence in game. No need for screenshots or videos proving some player missconduct, if GM is there, he can see it with his own eyes and *POW*, 1 day BAN w/o warning. Next time a week and so on. Like a kind policeman with judge jurisdiction.
P.S.: I remember when game was p2p, gms were much more respected. Because perma ban ment you had to pay for another account, not just created another one and behaved the very same way that got you banned.

Agreed, something needs to be done and a search filter in storage would be a +1, takes ages to find anything.
I agree 100%.

YAY! My mage in Gorge of Silence!!! Thanks for that, I lost all my pre-evo screenshosts.

It's nice feature, implemented on some private servers. But on the other hand it supports multiclienting. So eventhough I opted for it I have second thoughts about it

Or maybe obscure map scrolls as craftable item, using materials that drop only in that specific map?

The scrolls to teleport to any map I'm not in favor of in any form. It takes away from exploring the maps/worlds.
Exploring is done in 1st month or 2 of playing. After that it is end game content. And with all maps compressed into 100 levels, I think it's good to have every map return scroll. Why? E.g. you are on some map on Orlo and clannie or friend asks you for help with some king in El Verloon Desert. It's really annyoing if it takes you 5+ minutes of running to get there. Will you do it? Maybe once, maybe 100 times but for sure not every time
And with scroll you can still explore maps if you want.

I played a lot of other mmo's and there is not a single one where i need a cleric to be able to play the game.
Cleric addiction brings us back to iRose times. As fun as it was, it's past, nobody can revive it. So go on with changes. Even if it takes alot of time. 100% support!

IM can be unbound with trade keys too back then. Now DEV team "seemed like" they want to make IM bound FOREVER in one account and I'm not totally againts that. But again, think and read carefully what I said. it's the same nothing was bound FOREVER to ur acc. so it has nothing to do with acc sellers.
now my point is: the "hassle" of trading blue gears.
I agree, but to unbound it you had to buy a Trade key with real money from game publisher, so even if you were violating rules and selling accounts or items for real money you were still supporting game publisher in a way. (not that I support that kind of conduct)
I also like the idea of nothing to be account or char bound (free economy). The question is, how the publisher will make some revenue, but that's their nut to crack I reckon.

I like it. Maybe in connection with Slayer achievements or similar to attract end players to do that kind of events on regular basis.
To pursue the goal of low level maps not empty after couple of months. Maybe not just crystal, perhaps map boss with huge ammount of HP that spawns twice a week (or more - timezones). You don't need to first hit it, you just need to accumulate certain amount od DMG HP on it to be rewarded (huge amount, not doable in couple of events)
E.g.: Ancient Jelly King in Adventurers plains every Monday 12AM and PM. Goal: Do 1mil DMG to it. Reward: Jelly Bean costume, Title: Charro eater
And so on for each map. Once you achieve all let's say Junon Ancient Kings you get special mount or cart and title Junon Ancients Slayer or something like that.
And you proceed with Luna and Eldeon and so on...
It shouldn't give any exp so you not neccessarly to do it as you level up and you return doing it once you hit endgame and you are bored or simply want to have that special costume, cart, mount or w/e.

I made a suggestion where we can trade stuffs (no matter what it is IM unique valor gears) to our own account.
I don't support that. Remember account sellers?

also, i dont like the chance for it to break your item on refinement. you are already loosing alot of refinement materials so loosing your piece of gear just feels like an extra kick in the nutters.
I agree. Losing materials or grade (or two) of refinement level is quite enough punishment.

Not really an option here.
My kids were the ones who introduced me to the game. They are both over 30 and married now.
PY, not an option here either.
Yours did the same as my son did and got me in game!
Now I am the OLD GUY here And everyone wondered why Trebor always looked Old! hahaha
Think wider guys, grandchildren!
Just happy not to be oldest guy around and Rob, my chars were allways using same old face as yours, that's how we met in NArose in the 1st place. Asking each other why using old char face.

What do you think about idea, that all wearable items should eventually wear off, like in real life? Maybe not over time, but through usage (hits).
I mean really wear off: you can reapir it, but durability goes down each repair until durability reaches 0 (just like if you'd use repair hammer), then it's dismantled into e.g. half of crafting materials needed to craft that item.
Not jewelry and gems, just wardrobe, weapons, shields and backitems.
That's one way to make people farm even after they reach end game content and also make artisans more usefull (high con, good quality mats -> high dura crafted item)

Consider including vending in that API.

Make children and introduce them to the game Bribe them to bring their schoolmates along.
My son is already hooked

Don't think Rose was launched in 2004
Hmm, I thought it was 1st of December 2004 Lost my pre open beta screenshots so I'm not bulletproof, but October 2005 was already open beta with Luna implemented.
I remember it was cold and it was late night (more like early morning) in Europe and server was crazy crowded
It would be nice to find someone with original day 1 screenshots.

Where is the fun in bringing a high level character to Breezy Hills? or Zant? They one-shot everything. They get no XP. They get no drops.
If you were scaled down to a reasonable approximation of level 15 or so then you could get drops and actually have some fun taking part in level limited quests
Thanks for following me, exactly what I was trying to say

"It does however take away 1 thing, wich is progress in my opinion, why am i playing and leveling if everything around me just scales to my level? Part of me is also playing because i want to feel like my levels mean something and make me stronger."
It doesn't scale up, just down. That means you are leveling to reach higher level maps, higher level gear.
It doesn't need to break the feeling of power and acomplishement because as maxed char with high level gear even when scaled down to e.g. lvl20 you are much stronger then regular lvl20 char with lvl20 gear and skills.
Not trying to push anything, it's just sad, how Junon maps were completely empty after some time and by my opinion Junon planet was cherry on top of the cake

Hi, Robert, glad to see you back!

I played some other MMORPGs and some of them are using so called effective levels.
It means your level is reduced according to the map you are currently in. That reduces your stats by some %, but not your skills.
It allows high level players to farm materials at low lvl maps and also help lower level players with kings, suggestions... Community develops. The good thing is also, that there are practically no empty maps.
I don't know if engine allows such manipulations, if not, just delete my post.

I agree with you, Kai.
Another good use of charm that would also affect all classes.would be skill cooldown reduction.
If you could create your first character right now, which class would you pick?
