After install vcredist please try these steps:

  • Pre-check
    • Open task manager and close all rose-updater.exe
    • Close all open clients
  • Option 1: Reset manifest
    • Delete updater/ folder from installation directory (e.g. C:\Program Files\ROSE Online)
    • Restart updater
  • Option 2: Force redownload
    • Delete trose.exe, rose.vfs, data.idx, updater/ from installation directory (e.g. C:\Program Files\ROSE Online)
    • Restart updater
  • Option 3: Nuclear option
    • Delete every file except rose-updater.exe
    • Restart updater
