HoneyBuns Posted June 7 Share Posted June 7 This guide is for the long quest that begins on Junon Planet and ends (for now) on Eldeon Planet. You can complete this quest at any time, even after you are max level. The quest has many parts, and most of the parts have several stages. Info about each quest can be found in the spoiler below the name of the quest. Four very important things to remember: 1- Some parts of this quest require more than one "quest slot" so be sure that you don't have more than 8 open quests when doing the Hero quest. 2- If you Abandon any of the quests, try to remember which part you were on and talk to the NPCS involved and you should be able to get the quest back. If you can not get the quest back after doing this please submit a ticket here 3- Whenever you see a flashing bell on the left side of your game screen like this one, do NOT ignore it! Click on it right away, even if you aren't planning to work on the Hero quest at that time. Once ignored, it can take days to reappear and sometimes not even then, so save yourself much aggravation and click on it as soon as you see it. 4- If the bell does not show up when it is supposed to while you are doing the quest, close the game completely (not select character) and log back in, it should pop up. You may need to give it a few minutes after closing the game before logging back in. MESSAGE FROM ARUA'S FAIRY You will receive your first bell message at level 15. Travel to Zant and talk to [Junon Order Co Founder] Francis. You will find him on the upper level of Zant. LOST CHILDREN Spoiler Lost Children (1) Francis tells you to talk to one of the three NPC's that is missing a child. Talk to the NPC that will give you the reward that you want. [Village Chief] Cornell- Cornell’s Necklace- Strength +10 [Guide] Lena - Lena’s Earring- Dexterity +10 [Designer] Keenu - Keenu’s Ring- Intelligence +10 LOST CHILDREN (2) The NPC's will all have a slightly different sad story, but the bottom line is that they will all send you to talk to [Livestock Farmer] Lampa. He is in the farm outside of Zant. LOST CHILDREN 3 Lampa tells you a frightening story about a man in a red robe carrying something about the size of a child. This example is for Cornell's grandson, Cheney. Your quest log will show the info for whichever NPC's child you are trying to find. Here are the locations of all three missing children. The child you are trying to save will have a ? above them. Cornell's grandson Cheney Lena's sister Shirley Keenu's daughter Arisa LOST CHILDREN (4) The child you are talking to suddenly turns into a monster! You have no choice but to defeat them. LOST CHILDREN (5) Return to the NPC to let them know that you found their child... kinda. REWARD Experience Zulie SOUL CRYSTAL Spoiler The NPC needs a moment to process the information. Talk to them again to get the next part of the quest, SOUL CRYSTAL (1) SOUL CRYSTAL (2) [Eccentric Inventor] Spero thinks someone with knowledge about magic might be able to help SOUL CRYSTAL (3) [Arumic Merchant] Tryteh needs you to gather some ingredients. The Mini Honeybees are right inside the town of Zant, Honeybees and Woopies are outside of Zant. Return to Tryteh when you have all of the materials. SOUL CRYSTAL (4) Tryteh wasn't able to save the child but will keep the crystal and continue to try. Go back to the NPC whose child you are trying to save. REWARD Experience Zulie The ring, necklace or earring as mentioned in the Lost Children spoiler above. MESSAGE FROM ARUA'S FAIRY Another bell message from the fairy appears. She sends you to see [Old Man] Myad in Adventurer's Plains DREADFUL EPIDEMIC Spoiler DREADFUL EPIDEMIC (1) [Ferrell Guild Staff] Seyon is across from Myad DREADFUL EPIDEMIC (2) Go behind [Smith] Ronk's hut and follow this path. Enter the mushroom enclosure and walk straight ahead until you get a message from Super Mini Bruce DREADFUL EPIDEMIC (3) Return to Myad with your findings DREADFUL EPIDEMIC (4) [Cleric] Karitte can be found in the Valley of Luxem Tower map, at the top of the tower. REWARD Experience Zulie HEALING HANDS Spoiler HEALING HANDS (1) Karitte needs some materials. The Elder Pumpkins can be found at the base of the Tower. Return to Karitte when you have the seeds. HEALING HANDS (2) The next part is timed. You have 30 minutes to go back to Adv Plains and sprinkle the Soil of Purification around the mushrooms in the back of Ronk's hut. Then talk to Myad about the antidote. Basically go to the same area as you did in Dreadful Epidemic and you will receive a message from Super Mini Bruce. Myad will tell you to give the antidote to Ronk and Pony and both of them are across from him in Adv Plains HEALING HANDS (3) Return to Myad for your reward REWARD Experience Zulie 1 Zant Return Scroll Adventurer's Set MESSAGE FROM ARUA'S FAIRY Another bell message from the fairy. This time she wants you to talk to [Tavern Owner] Sharlin in Zant THE MAN IN THE RED ROBE Spoiler The Man in the Red Robe (1) Sharlin tells you to talk to Karitte at the top of the tower in Luxem The Man in the Red Robe (2) Karitte thinks Pomics might be involved so head across the bridge in Luxem and kill at least 10 of them Here is a good area with a lot of regular Pomics. The Man in the Red Robe (3) Return to Karitte when you have the red paper (quest drop) The Man in the Red Robe (4) Go back to that Pomic spot and start killing regular Pomics. When an infected one appears (after killing a regular one) kill that one too Infected Pomic The Man in the Red Robe (5) When you have defeated 6 Infected Pomics, return to Karitte. Reward Experience The Man in the Red Robe (6) Return to Myad in Adv Plains The Man in the Red Robe (7) Myad sends you back to the mushroom patch but this time, you need to go to the back. There will be another message from Super Mini Bruce. Mushroom spot The Man in the Red Robe (8) Return to Myad with the Symbolic Necklace REWARD Experience Zulie THE ENIGMATIC IKANESS Spoiler [Akram Minister] Mairard is right next to Myad The Enigmatic Ikaness (1) The Enigmatic Ikaness (2) Go to the pier on the beach behind Mairard and follow it to the ship that's docked there. [Ferrell Guild Staff] Peron will give you a free ride to Junon Polis. NOTE: You must be at least level 30 to take the ship. Peron This is where you will be when you arrive in Junon Polis. [Ferrell Guild Staff] Itz will take you back to Adv. Plains after you make the delivery. To find [Junon Order] Gorthein, head to the left as you leave the dock area. Past the Flying Ship, cross the bridge still heading to the left. You will see the Junon Order NPC's The Enigmatic Ikaness (3) Return to Itz for a free ride back to Adv Plains and talk to Mairard. REWARD Experience Zulie 1 Zant Return Scroll Junon Mask This is one of the best masks in the game. MESSAGE FROM ARUA'S FAIRY Bell Message from Arua's Fairy. You may even have a double bell message, but just click on one of them and don't worry about the other one. Francis is on the upper level of Zant. JUNON'S HOLY STAFF Spoiler Junon's Holy Staff (1) Exit Zant from the middle and the Breezy Hills entrance will be directly in front of you. Breezy Hills entrance Once you are in Breezy Hills, head to the bridge. When you get to the cross-bridge, turn to the right. You can see the town up on the hill. Junon's Holy Staff (2) Pomic Fighters are in Breezy Hills. Beetles are in El Verloon around the water. Pomic Fighter To get to El Verloon Desert safely, head back across the bridges the same way you first crossed them to get to the town. From this point, go straight across that bridge in the distance and keep going straight El Verloon entrance Once you are in El Verloon Desert, the Beetles are to the left, on the far side of the map, but getting there can be both confusing and dangerous, depending on your level. So here is a shortcut way to get to the right area. If you look to your right, you can see part of the big pyramid called Oblivion Temple. Make your way over to that pyramid, then go around to the back of it. You will see a circular brick area and to the side, past the waterfall, there is a bridge. Cross that bridge and then you can jump down from the cliff at any point. The lower level Beetles are around the shoreline. To return to Francis once you have the items from the Pomics and Beetles, you can retrace your steps or use a Zant Return Scroll. Junon's Holy Staff (3) REWARD Experience Junon's Holy Staff (4) [Smith] Punwell is in that little town in Breezy Hills where you found Belz. Junon's Holy Staff (5) Follow the instructions above to get to the Beetle Fighters in El Verloon Desert Junon's Holy Staff (6) Junon's Holy Staff (7) REWARD Experience Zulie THE HOLY SCISSORS AND THE THREAD OF DESTINY Spoiler The Holy Scissors and the Thread of Destiny (1) You can find Honey Rackies in the area before the pyramid. The Queen Honey Bee Workers are almost at the opposite side of the map. You can take the shortcut described in Junon's Holy Staff spoiler. When you jump off the cliff, follow the shoreline until you are close to the stone spawn area. Queen Honey Bee Worker The Holy Scissors and the Thread of Destiny (2) No matter how hard you try, you can't seem to get that 5th Crown Gem so return to Francis in Zant. The Holy Scissors and the Thread of Destiny (3) [Ferrell Guild Merchant] Lina is located in the little town in El Verloon Desert. When you enter El Verloon from Breezy Hills, go up the lower mountain path. The Holy Scissors and the Thread of Destiny (4) The Holy Scissors and the Thread of Destiny (5) In typical fashion, [Gypsy Merchant] Methio would not give you the Crown Gem for free, but now that you have it finally, return to Francis in Zant. REWARD Experience Zulie 1 Adventurer's Plains Return Scroll MESSAGE FROM ARUA'S FAIRY Another Bell message from Aura's Fairy. This starts the next part of the questline. DESCENT OF THE GODDESS Spoiler Descent of the Goddess (1) Head to the Trainer Village in Adventurer's Plains. That's the place where you were given your first job. Go all the way to the back of the village, then turn left and follow this little, hidden path. Talk to Melendino and then defeat her. Descent of the Goddess (2) Karitte is at the top of the tower in Luxem MESSAGE FROM ARUA'S FAIRY Bell message time once again. This one is really important because it gives you the location where you will meet the Goddess Arua. Descent of the Goddess (3) Head to Adv. Plains and find [Boy by the Cart] Huey. Go up the hill behind him (the place where the Flannae are) and then turn right and walk to the tree near the waterfall. Stand in the beam of light next to the tree to talk to the Goddess. REWARD Experience Zulie 7 Purple Powder MESSAGE FROM ARUA'S FAIRY Bell message. This one begins the next part of the questline. See the spoiler below. Walk towards the big tree and go into the water near this root, where the arrow is pointing. There will be a dialog message. Click on that and you've gotten the Twig of Wisdom that you need but you have also angered the Smoulies and a bunch of them spawn and start attacking. HoneyBuns Posted June 23 Author Share Posted June 23 INFORMATION ON LUNA [Visitor Guide] Arua's Fairy is in Adventurer's Plains, right in front of the place you spawn when you first enter the game. Choose option 1 from the dialog choices. THE FAIRY'S RHYME Spoiler The Fairy's Rhyme (1) You must be level 70 and have unlocked interplanetary travel in order to continue with the quest. Information on how to do that can be found here. [Akram Ambassador] Eliot is on the lower level of the Magic City of Eucar on the Luna Planet. If this is your first time visiting Luna, Eliot will first teach you the "language". This is important so that you can understand what the NPC's on Luna are saying. The Fairy's Rhyme (2) [Eucar Judge] Ishtal is also on the lower level of Eucar. REWARD Experience Zulie The Fairy's Rhyme (3) In between Eliot and Ishtal on the lower level of Eucar, there is a ramp leading outside of the city. Exit the city and turn to the right. Right in front of the entrance to Mana Snowfields, there is an area with wolves. Once you have the wolf pelts, return to Eucar and take one of the two ramps to the second level of the city. In the center of the upper level, there is a portal. Before you step into that field warp, head over to [Tavern Owner] Anzhelika and buy some Eucar Return Scrolls. You can also check player's shops to possibly find them cheaper. Now return to the portal and choose option 4 Crystal Snowfields south [Shamanist] Est is the NPC that will teleport you into Luna Clan Field. REWARD Experience Zulie THE LOST PRINCE Spoiler The Lost Prince (1) Everything that Est asked for is back around or near Eucar, so use a Eucar Return Scroll. You can find wolves in several spots. My favorite is this one. It's the same area that was mentioned in THE FAIRY'S RHYME spoiler The Elder Slags can be found in several places on the Magic City of Eucar map. Here are a couple of spots. The reindeer can be found in Mt. Eruca. Exit Eucar from the upper level and turn right. Go just past the entrance to Freezing Plateau and look for this opening in the ice wall. You can kill the little deer near the entrance or go in a bit deeper and kill the regular reindeer. When you've gathered everything, go back to Est in Crystal Snowfields. REWARD Experience Zulie The Lost Prince (2) REWARD Experience Zulie The Lost Prince (3) Head up the ramp near Ishtal and go to the portal, Pick option 5. You will be in a safe area and you can see some wolves and Little Wolverines in front of you. This is one of those quests where the number of mobs you need to kill is not specified so just keep killing and watch your quest tracker to see when you get the quest drop. The Lost Prince (4) REWARD Experience Zulie DARK RELIC Spoiler Dark Relic (1) Dark Relic (2) Go to the portal on the upper level of Eucar and pick option 4. You will spawn near [Shamanist] Est. Follow the wall on the right side until you see this small bridge. The Dreadnaughts are across that bridge. You can kill the Junior Dreadnaughts to get these quest drops. NOTE There are Dreadnaughts scattered around the area near Luna Clan Field if you prefer to hunt them there instead. When you finish with the Dreadnaughts, head back to Est Continue past the NPC and clan field and keep going. There are Mammoths all along that area and you can kill, Mammoths or Elder Mammoths. A good concentration of them can be found here. To find the Vulcans, continue along this path until you see two paths. Keep moving to the right. Vulcans look like walking candy corn. Enter the enclosed area to find more of them. Both Vulcans and Vulcan Leaders can give the quest drops. When you have gathered everything, go back to Eliot in Eucar. MESSAGE FROM GODDESS ARUA Suddenly you receive a bell message but this time, it's from the goddess herself! After you click through the dialog, the quest name changes. Dark Relic (3) REWARD Experience Zulie IN SEARCH OF LODERIC Spoiler In Search of Loderic (1) Once again, go to the portal and pick option 4 In Search of Loderic (2) Exit Eucar from the lower level using the ramp between [Eucar Judge] Ishtal and [Akram Ambassador] Eliot. The entrance to Arumic Valley is visible from the bottom of that ramp. You can also take the portal on the upper level. Option 2 will get you the closest. Here is where the White Crystals are. In Search of Loderic (3) REWARD Experience AN ABOMINABLE ARMY Spoiler An Abominable Army (1) [Arumic Prophet] Olleck Basilasi can be found in Eucar in the middle of the upper level. He is standing in front of a big tree in a pot. An Abominable Army (2) NOTE: If you have any other open quests that require Yetis or Rupers, finish those quests first before you start this one. Otherwise you won't get any of the quest drops until those other quests are completed. Instructions on how to get to Arumic Valley can be found in the IN SEARCH OF LODERIC spoiler above. Yeti Kids are right in front of you when you enter Arumic Valley. There are regular Yetis in that area too. If you go straight ahead from where you entered Arumic Valley, you will find Ruper Mages. In this ss, the Eucar entrance to Arumic Valley is marked with a red arrow. When you have gathered everything, return to Olleck An Abominable Army (3) Take the portal, option 4 REWARD Experience Zulie An Abominable Army (4) REWARD Experience Zulie An Abominable Army (5) Go back to Arumic Valley as you did before. From the Eucar entrance, head towards this opening and down the ramp to the water. When you reach the bottom of the ramp and are in the water, turn to the right to find the Basilisks. They look like turtles with super long tails. MESSAGE FROM ARUA'S FAIRY An Abominable Army (6) REWARD Experience Zulie THE CLEANSING Spoiler The Cleansing (1) Reminder of where to find Yeti Kids. Even tho you were given 5 vials, you only need to defeat one Yeti Kid. The Cleansing (2) REWARD Experience Zulie The Cleansing (3) Yeti Captains, Silver Yeti, and Ruper Wizards can be found by going straight forward from the entrance from Eucar, indicated on the ss by the red arrow. For the Yeti Riders, I find it easier to return to Eucar and take the portal- option 1. When you have 7 of each drop, return to Est. REWARD Experience Zulie The Cleansing (4) To find Varus, choose option 2 from the portal in Eucar. Walk forward a few steps and you will see Varus and his friends. NOTE: While you are not required to be in a party to get this drop, it may be better to go there with friends, since the area is full of very strong Yetis. A MOST DREADFUL VERSE Spoiler A Most Dreadful Verse (1) REWARD Experience Band of the Shadowmoon Council A Most Dreadful Verse (2) Go back to Eucar and leave from the upper level. Turn left and keep going. There are some Devil Pest Slags between the entrance to Freezing Plateau and Mt Eruca. You can't miss them because they glow. When you have collected enough samples, return to Est REWARD Experience Zulie A Most Dreadful Verse (3) REWARD Experience Zulie ANOTHER GOLDEN DAGGER? Spoiler Another Golden Dagger? (1) Exit Eucar from the lower level, the ramp between Ishtal and Eliot and turn right. Keep going until you reach the entrance to Mana Snowfields [Gentleman Explorer] Nicholai Coffington is right at the entrance REWARD Experience Zulie Another Golden Dagger (2) The Lunaris Bears are literally right in front of this NPC. Same as before, if you have another open quest that needs Lunaris Bears, complete that before starting this one. Return to Nicholai when you have gathered enough barrels. REWARD Experience Zulie Another Golden Dagger? (3) If you go deeper into this map, you will find some Frost Wyrms in this pond. The actual den is a bit further. Go across the water and quickly through the Winter Maul cave (be careful of their aoe). When you leave that cave, turn left and go past the Behemoth King spawn and the Artillery Penguins until you see this opening in the ice wall. My advice is to try the closer spot first. I got the quest drop after killing one Little Frost Wyrm. Another Golden Dagger (4) Time to head back to the Junon Planet and talk to [Arumic Researcher] Lutis in the Valley of Luxem Tower As you finish talking to Lutis, Arua's Fairy pops in to tell you to return to Luna Planet REWARD Experience BACK TO LUNA! THE INJURED PRINCE Spoiler The Injured Prince (1) Follow the instructions in THE LOST PRINCE spoiler above to go back to Mt. Eruca. This time you have to go to the top and it's a bit confusing. Walk straight from the place where you just entered this map. Thanks to a recent change on the server, you can actually see the Prince in the distance. Keep going straight and slightly to the left to go up this small ramp The next ramp is almost directly ahead of you. At the top of that ramp, turn to the left and you will see the Prince. REWARD Experience The Injured Prince (2) The Frozen Thorns are those white wolf like monsters all over the area where the Prince is REWARD Experience Zulie TO SAVE JUNON POLIS Spoiler Return to the Junon Planet. While you are talking to the Prince, Melendino suddenly breaks in and says that she is going to kill the Prince! You have to fight her but even when you defeat her, she still manages to escape. REWARD Experience Talk to the Prince again to start the next part of the quest. REWARD Experience Golden Dagger THE VOICE OF LUNA Spoiler The Voice of Luna (1) [Eucar Judge] Ishtal is on the lower level of the Magic City of Eucar REWARD Experience Zulie The Voice of Luna (2) [Arumic Prophet] Olleck Basilasi is in the center of the upper level of Eucar. Make sure that you have at least one space in the consumable tab of your inventory before you talk to Olleck. The Voice of Luna (3) You will find Olleck Basilasi's Mana drill in your Consumable tab. It says 1 but actually there are 8. I've found it easier to drag that item to one of my skill tabs but you can also use it from your inventory. If you double click on the icon in the quest log that looks like a scroll, you will be given this clue as to where these Mana taps need to be placed. Double click on the scroll icon again to make it disappear. These will be familiar to you since they are the place on many maps where you spawn when using the portal in Eucar. To place one of the Mana Taps, stand in about the center of the structure and double click on the icon (either from your skill bar or your inventory). The number of taps in your quest log will reduce by 1 each time and you will see this message that indicates you successfully placed a tap. Here are all 8 locations. NOTE: There are more of these crystal structures than just these 8 and if you try to place a tap in one of them, you will get this message. So be sure to check the coordinates against the ones in the mini map ss above. You can place the taps in any order. When you have placed the last one, you will see this message The Voice of Luna (4) REWARD Experience FALLEN SHAMAN BRETHREN Spoiler Fallen Shaman Brethren (1) Go to the portal and choose option 5. From the spawn area, go to the right until you see a path on your right side. It's not very far. Follow that path until it ends and you will be in an open but enclosed area. Head to these openings in the wall slightly to your left. Rubrum is inside this area, surrounded by Illusion Ghosts. Defeat him (with or without a party) then return to Olleck REWARD Experience Shadowmoon Pendant Fallen Shaman Brethren (2) REWARD Experience Zulie Fallen Shaman Brethren (3) The entrance to Forgotten Temple is literally right next to you. Walk into that dark area near Est For those of you that are not familiar with Forgotten Temple, it's like a maze with portals that take you to other levels of the Temple. Luckily, there are some Shaman Ghosts in the first room. If you decide to venture deeper into the Temple, keep track of how you went because to leave you either need to use a Eucar Return Scroll and then the portal to get back to Est, or you have to go back the way you first entered. Return to Est with the Spiritual Essences REWARD Experience Zulie Fallen Shaman Brethren (4) REWARD Experience Zulie Fallen Shaman Brethren (5) Rutum is a little tricky to find. Exit Eucar from the lower level and turn right. Go into Mana Snowfields and keep going straight When you get to where the road divides, you can take either path. Your goal is the Arumic Valley Entrance so go around the BK spawn spot and past the Frost Wyrm den until you see it After you enter Arumic Valley, turn left and go thru the ice archway Rutum is on your right in a little alcove Return to Olleck when the deed is done. REWARD Experience Shadowmoon Earring ACTIVATING THE MANA LENS Spoiler Activating the Mana Lens (1) Head back to Mana Snowfields (Eucar, lower level and turn right). Once inside Mana Snowfields, go straight. Again, you can take either path when the road splits. Your destination initially looks like a block of ice but way at the top, you can see part of an NPC's name and the very tip of the Crystalline structure. Before you worry about that, you need to gather some essence from the Igloo Turtles. Walk around until you find an opening and once inside, you will see the Igloo Turtles. NOTE: You can get the essences from either the Igloo Turtles or the smaller Igloo Tangles. When you've gathered the essences, the quest tracker changes and says "Speak to Kiroro". That's the NPC whose name was peeking out from the top of this structure so head up the winding path until you reach the top. There are Penguin Commanders and a Penguin King up there too. While talking to Kiroro, suddenly Melendino breaks in and you are forced to defeat her. Talk to Kiroro again and find out the true story. After she helps you activate the Mana Lens, hurry back to Eucar and talk to Olleck. REWARD Experience Zulie THE ORACLE OF ICE Spoiler The Oracle of Ice To find the Bebegs, you have to continue going up. From where the Prince is, walk until you see this ice ramp across from the giant skull. The next ramp is visible from the one that you just climbed so head up that ramp now From the top of that second ramp, turn to the left, You can see another ramp going up. Remember this ramp but don't go on it. Instead go into the pond on the left side of that ramp to find the Bebegs. There are several small ponds in that area so go in a bit more to find a better spawn. NOTE: Make sure that you have one space in the consumable tab of your inventory before you start this part of the quest. PASSAGE TO DAWN Spoiler Passage to Dawn There is an Oracle of Ice in your consumable tab. You can use it from there or drag it to your skill bar. Remember that other ramp? Now is the time to climb to the top of that ramp. You can double click on the icon in your quest log to get this clue. The ramp turns into an icy stairway. Climb to the very top and double click on the Oracle of Ice. The Goddess Luna explains what happened and that she won't be able to help because she is still trapped in the Sea of Dawn.
