  1. If the heal stacking is busted in AA, it's busted in open world too.
Clerics heals should stack, but not past 2 or 3 clerics. The healing needs to get reduced at some point.

If you make it so that the healing isn't beneficial for several clerics to be in a match, then you'll see the number of clerics in each match go down on its own naturally.
Currently, the power is in party heals, as most clerics aren't really focused on single target heals.

Not exactly sure of the numbers, or the reduction it should be, I just, am pretty sure the solution is to negate how powerful, several clerics healing is.

Because I am hoping for a solution similar to this. (big brain solution)
    I voted the second option.

I'd rather a real fix, than a band aid solution.

But another solution my be to fix point distribution towards wins, while punishing AFK with less(to no) points.

Currently, people are seemingly always going to abuse the fastest way to earn points, and because this is the current fastest way, they'll do it.

If points is changed to be earned on wins, then, players will be focused towards wins.

Are there any guidelines for how much Con affects success rate?

10 CON for example seems not to change the success rate by even 0.1%.

Level is what effects success rate the most out of anything else.  its like 90% Level, and then 10% CON. (maybe even more towards level)

(At max level, doing gem crafting) 10 con is like, around 0.01% ish, its very, very marginal for 10 CON. That's why imo as long as you have near 1100 CON, you're fine to do GEM crafting. Higher is going to be nice, but to my understanding, your failure rate is pretty much the same as someone with even 100 - 200 more CON than you.
Crafting at a certain point is more RNG than anything else. As long as you're max level and have floating around 1,100 🙂

  3. Point being.

    I'm against pay to win.

Games exist that, have no pay to win aspects.

For me, it's I'll play a game that has no pay to win. Or I'll go play an entirely different genre of game.

This decision was made much easier, knowing Rednim openly stated many times their opinion on pay to win, and recognizing that was a major downfall of the previous company. Rednim hates pay to win. Or at least, this is what was said to be true.

Maybe I misunderstood the developments perspectives on the mater.

Anyrate. The promise to not have pay to win was made.

The game is slowly leaking in these things. And the community seems accepting of this, under the guise of we need to do this to keep development of the game up.

I'd rather just not support that direction.

With that said. I'm out. I'll go play other games.

Sorry that the MMORPG genre as a whole, seemingly, has this deficiency, but I won't support it.

    Cheers.

almost all games out there have p2w stuff

Fortnite Save The World, (the original game mode) HAD pay to win stuff in it, Until they got sued for millions upon millions of dollars.
Now Fortnite entirely has a no pay to win. (In BR, in StW, in Rocket Racing, LegoFortnie, ect)

(Overprime : The Paragon, has no p2w aspects)

  5. When players talk about players leaving for X reasons.

I feel it important to explain why some may leave, even if I am alone in my reasoning.

Rednim stated before EA that premium storage is basically pay to win.
    This is being changed.

Your word in this world is your bond. Once you start to go back on your word, your credibility is gone out the window.

Their KoFi openly advertises weekly detailed updates. This is something that is openly promised by Rednim. When confronted with this,
Rather than just changing the wording, the money was refunded.
    (updated since this post)

Storage, even though many don't want to see it as a pay to win, it is.

There are many games on the market that are dedicated to not being pay to win. I will move onto companies that value truth.

I didn't quit because of anything else. But failed promises.

I'm not into LCF business, so I don't know how the PvP/PvM offense/resistance % work. But I wouldn't want to farm in this place, my eyes are gonna hurt from long exposure of this kind of blue light. 😵

    WAAAAY Offtopic

    Spoiler

In the same way milk isn't actually good for your bones, it was just the dairy industry saying this sort of thing to sell more milk.

Blue light isn't inherently bad for you. There's only one study that claims this from Harvard, that seems as though it was probably paid off by some corporation in order to publish these results. I've not actually dug deep enough into this, but other studies since have shown no significant risk to our eyes from Blue Light. (In fact, there's another study from Harvard that expresses blue light is in fact, not bad for you. So, someone must of failed at cutting the second cheque to someone)

The entire thing is a myth to sell you something.

It is however an interesting thought; If you'll allow me to go absolutely insane for a second. Amun Ra is known as the "hidden one" - He's >blue<. Maybe there's something in this world that is hidden, that you need to be able to see blue light specifically to see? Is it that its hidden in a spectrum? Is it hidden in plain sight? Is there a message at all? Who knows.
There's also a song known as "I'm blue" by Eiffle 65/ Where the aliens are depicted as blue.
Avatar, a movie where there is space travel, and life on another planet with an entire race of planet of people that are Blue.

Is this mind washing us to believe that blue light is bad, really something much bigger than we all realize? Who knows.
I am fairly certain that Blue Light isn't actually bad. What also seems to be true is that the Pope has some weird Characteristics that are similar to depictions of Amun Ra. (his hat, and staff) I also am well aware that I am absolutely bazonkers insane. But, its fun to go a little crazy sometimes I guess.
    Cheers.

Thnx MeNewbie for sharing those numbers with us.

    you use your 6 heals

    Spoiler

If there were only 6 heals, I'd agree that increasing CD is a good play.
But because there are 10 heals, (video to shows and explains somewhat how the heals work)
I think that the play might be to increase already existing heals.
There's something that needs to be done about heals for lower levels. I think that if a cleric is in a level appropriate map, their healing should be doubled in under lvl 200 maps. Or something of the likes of that.

  8. There are people that will argue false truths as though they are facts, believing in these delusions; Example; Flat Earthers. (leftists, ect.)

You believing that you can justify something being not pay to win. When it pays to give an advantage. Doesn't make it any less pay to win.

If someone pays money, to proceed in the game, in any way, shape or form. This is an aspect of pay to win. Your inability to comprehend this, is unfortunate. I wish I had the patience to explain to you in further detail as to why. But currently. I lack this patience.
    But I'll try;
Basically, Paying money for an advantage, is by definition, pay to win.
Because you are PAYING MONEY. For something that gives you an ADVANTAGE over other players. Paying for an ADVANTAGE is what qualifies something to be considered as pay to win. You are paying for a progression you'd otherwise have to earn.

Again. You don't have to agree with me, you can say that I'm wrong.
But I am certain, a judge would agree with my definition.
    Cheers.

It's been a big discussion in the team for some time right now. Right now players get a drop rate penalty for being out of range of the mob but it doesn't go to a 100% drop rate penalty so that is how higher levels can still drop loot from low level mobs albeit at a lower rate. I think there's a good chance we'll make some adjustments here but we haven't finalized what that would look like.

I think that if level appropriate mobs weren't so hard to kill, as the level you're "supposed" to be killing it as, it wouldn't be as enticing to use a max level char, facing the drop penalties.

Being in a group should be an advantage not a necessity.

Aha. Try running a DG with that mindset.
This is a multiplayer game. It requires playing with other people in order to do well in it.
If that's not okay with you, this might not be the game for you sir.
    Respectfully.

Growing together as players and making friends should be the experience that you seek with this.
Finding friends, meeting new people. Growing, and improving with them.
(Not just your characters in game, but your entire relationships with others)
If that is not the experience you seek. Maybe you're in the wrong place.

To me it sounds as though you WANT to be a strong player, that you' may actually be jealous and envious of players that already are strong players?
Know that, I too am not particularly a social butterfly,  however, I've grown my characters in spite of, needing to play with others to improve my chars.

Yeah. Idk. I'm a pretty trashy person though. But eh. If you need help in the game, my dm's are open on discord, feel free to ask for some help and if I'm not in the middle of something, I'd be more than happy to lend a hand with what you're wanting to do to improve your char.

But know, this is a game that is yes, designed around playing with others.
That likely won't change. Arguably, nore should it.

Respectfully, I feel like you have an inferiority complex that tarnishes your ability to enjoy yourself with others.
As well as you may be projecting your own narcissism as a guise to mask your own.

I'd suggest explaining why you feel such ways, rather than just projecting your feelings and exclaiming your feelings as though they're truth and valid, because you feel that way. Just because you feel a certain way, doesn't validate that into reality.

Though. I can agree with Fossil. and Bosses in General.

Someone said a proposal to fix bosses is to have individual loot for bosses
(which would also mean that obtaining boss for quest would also be reliant on simply hitting the boss one time rather than being the first hit sort of thing)

But generally speaking, your post mostly focuses around trying to project your uncomfortable feelings about other people, more than your post explains why you feel such ways, or what can be done to improve such things.

I understand that sometimes people feel the need to belittle others in order to feel valid and important about themselves. And eh, you do you. As you are a solo player. I guess I can see why you'll likely to remain a solo player.

This is a multiplayer game which is better enjoyed with the interaction of others. I hope you can find love for your fellow human, and maybe enjoy playing with others. Rather than focusing on all that you hate about others.

    Cheers.

Games like Minecraft has achievements that give rewards based on what Microsoft can offer.
I wonder if this sort of thing could be incorporated into ROSE. I'd presume that's a mostly Microsoft thing, so it'd require a partnership.
It is fun to hear the achievement sounds when playing Minecraft, to see that I'm that much closer to a $5 gift card simply by playing game 😄

I think the game could just have its own within game achievements. Like defeat 100 Jellybeans (outside of questing) - That when completed, gives you 100 points towards your in game rewards, and upon completing 3,000 rewards, a person can exchange those points for x amount of item mall.
(nothing too significant, or nothing that would remove the need completely from spending money on IM, but help encourage the use of the IM shop in general, and help familiarize people with it)

This is more of an idea on quality of life. To keep players around that join. There's just something that hits different hearing an achievement unlocked sound. Sure hits different. Game shows polish,

Game looking great now tho! 😄

Maybe Achievements also could be unlocked only by being a Ko-Fi member, in order to make it more financially viable to incorporate into the game.

  13. This is by far the dumbest thing ever.
Yet also, the most amazing and bravest journey I've ever read.
Trek on (almost said soldier) Visitor. Trek on...
    (after they fix the gear)

TBH. I think you might still hit lvl 250 before @Zurn😄

Thanks for the entertaining read. And best of luck to you on your journey 🙂
I look forward to reading more 😄

Someway to right-click the player, have options brought up that include a Report button.

I'd love a right click report option, that will timestamp the event, saving the past 5 minutes of server activity. That can be played back in a replay system, for the moderation team to review. (including chat logs ect.) Or highlighting the timestamp in the report, and being able to replay back anything that was done, ect.

the last DEV time redid Sikiku Prison to be a BOT-free zone and it killed the whole map. No one ever goes there anymore, why? Because it's difficult to bot there now.

Because it was a great place to farm zullies. But it was too much of an increase of zullies with the boxes.
Also there are better places to do everything now, and the spawn rate in Prison is just too slow. Honestly all it needs is to be MARGINALLY faster, and it could be worth it again. But Prison is just, so difficult now for the reward to be marginally better leveling then elsewhere.
Prison farming and leveling could be great, it wasn't done right that update. They killed it, its not just laziness of the player. imo.

AFK and standing motionless in a salamander is fine (assuming the rest of your party is ok with it). AFK using auto hot keys to continue to skill or heal or pick up drops while you are AFK is not allowed.

Apologies. I don't just correlate being AFK to botting.
I thought the person mostly meant botters, and people that join the party to just go AFK and not be there.

I looked at the initial post as meaning two separate things, not merging the later with the former.

There are countless excuses for cheating but that does not change the fact that it IS cheating. The game rules clearly state that the use of assistive technology to automate ingame actions is prohibited. If a parent  (or anyone) has something to do in real life, then they should do that. But that does not mean they can bend or break the rules. It's simple- log out until you have the time to actually play the game.  Teaching your children to cheat is not good parenting.  Teach them to play fairly instead.

    Botting = Cheating.

AFK = Away From Keyboard. (not cheating)

I was defending the act of going AFK. Not botting.
    Apologies for the confusion.
