I played some other MMORPGs and some of them are using so called effective levels.

It means your level is reduced according to the map you are currently in. That reduces your stats by some %, but not your skills.

It allows high level players to farm materials at low lvl maps and also help lower level players with kings, suggestions... Community develops. The good thing is also, that there are practically no empty maps.

I don't know if engine allows such manipulations, if not, just delete my post.

I do not think this would fit with rose online maybe other mmos, sounds kinda crappy to punish players for entering certain maps so don’t think I’d ever play a game with this feature but to each their own I guess

  2. I do not think this idea would fit the theme of rose and feel like it just is trying to make rose like every other mmorpg. This is what I liked about rose, is it it wasn’t like every other mmo

An auto loot feature on the pet would be super nice.

Also, more rare pets you get will give you buffs randomly. Maybe a feature where you can feed/upgrade your pet, and it evolves. Maybe make three evolutions a pet can have, and each one changes the look of it slightly. The higher leveled/evolved your pet the stronger it's buffs are for you.

I think farming for your favorite pet will be fun, along with evolving it.

I agree pets would be cool and auto pickup, feeding and raising it, but I do not think it should give buffs or any kind of combat advantages unless it were implemented as a class skill. There are self buffs, and cleric buffs I do not think we need more

agree that IM items should be untradeble/account bound.

disagree that unique drops should be account bound. whats my hawker gonna do with a unique named gun?
Unique named drops can still be rewarding because they are rare drops and therefore worth alot of money.

Yep I am right there with ya, agree about the IM bound items and disagree with unique items I think players should have the option to either farm gear or buy it with the zulie they most likely also farmed for. I think making bound items just eventually defeats the purpose of zulie and part of incentive of farming as some people may just prefer farming for for zulie rather than gear.

I disagree on this one and think it would defeat the purpose of a cleric. They’ve already said they will make it easier to kill mobs/ level solo. I’m fine if they have quest obtainable boosters or pot consumable buffs but putting no effort, going to an npc and getting insane advantages would be kinda OP and not good IMO. It would create a basically permanent artificial boost in power and would take away from naturally getting stronger by leveling, and progressing your character, specing into the skill, stats etc which is part of the fun of the game.

this kinda just sounds like a private server idea

I think it would be nice if lower level maps and specific cities would have way to get buffs from npc somehow.

Coming to play as new without buffs and gear in rose is relatively hard, especially if you dont know much about game.

Even basic strenght buffs helps bigtime, it would still keep cleric to be one who can give really good buffs.

It would make people flow around specific areas on map and gather for buffs, also allow solo or new player groups buff up.

There could be some quest in first maps what explains about buffs and then as way to learn it gives buffs via npc/etc.

It could start with basic dash and attack power buff, and expand it to all buffs based on map/difficutly, also raise buffs strenght (but still keep them UNDER level of any cleric buffs).

Its totally useless for longer time players who has own cleric, but will allow solo players to play alone, or even skip having own buffslave if no top buffs are needed

  7. I understand dex/ int were important for a cleric but str? What kind of weird build were you playing lol. I do agree however to keep int as buffs and charm as a stat that effects drops though
