  1. We are going to roll a short update soon to fix and improve the Ballroom Event, especially by adding quest icons on npc/dialogs and adding Dance My Best to Quest Tracker.

    ETA time estimated: 30min

  2. We made no nerf, what happened is we buffed launcher base speed until it feels "great" during Alpha because the old attack speed (0.35) is awfull to play, but for an unknow reason it was kept like this for early-access, we probably went so busy that we completely forgot about it...

    Battle Artisan are exactly the same as before so the real poll should be:

    - Buff gun attack speed

    - Nerf launcher attack speed

    - Buff gun attack speed and nerf launcher attack speed

     

    (and no battle artisan are not fine the way it is, launcher are at the same time stronger and faster than launcher so something will be done for sure)

    That's just classic garnet playing with different ROSE assets version haha i will replace it with a screenshot from our Junon version to avoid any confusion :)

  4. No, the team currently doesn't want an Auction System for now because we think it would make the game lose his identity, most players that we have talk with like the way to have lot of shops in Junon and look at them.

    Unless there is a major change in the game that make us reconsider it where AH would be highly beneficial for game, we prefer to implement better vending features.

  5. We probably need a poll for this ( i have my opinion on this thread but i prefer to keep it for myself for now.)

    Also, if you guys think there is really a bug in the current system (ex: the other player neither got the first hit and neither did the max damage) please record and show us so we can be sure there is really bug.

  6. I'm complaining since game release about the lack of real UI this is an obvious add but there is some technical difficulties to make this possible because of how the UI code and such are limited.

    Also even if i really want it, i'm not sure this is something that the ROSE community is really waiting for so not really a priority...

    There is also the question of the Map UI itself, with the current UI limitation i'm not sure what is the best design for it yet.

    Feel free to make suggestion!

  7. The problem is the Delivery Quest.

    If we add a Sikuku Ruins scroll people will chain it by using Xita/Ruins.

    I see the reason to want it and i understand it but Scroll or Delivery Quest, there will be a choice to make!

    Or i could make a lvl 220 requirement to the scroll, doesn't really sound good design at all but maybe better than nothing.

  8. - Follow function: no for obvious reasons, i think everybody know what i mean...even if it's sad.

    - Show Prerequisite Requirement of Items and Skills : good suggestion 🙂

    - Mark/Gray out visited Vending Shops: it's live

    - Muse Buffs (Dash, Atk Speed, Accuracy, Defense, HP/MP, Critical): currently no plan to make buff on muse going back, however we'r going to boost muse heal in a close future.

  9. Yes they got deleted from our data.

    Also i don't like too munch the idea to have people wearing other class set, it's nice be able to recognize the classes by their set and also class sets are one of the reason to build a specific class imo.

  10. I'll take a look to be sure but tbh unless my memory is wrong it's not something that you can modify like on other famous engine, it's more the bad collision system and the lack of z axis that makes it glitchy. Dragons (even if they are not back yet on the game) are the worst ones.

    But yes that's an issue that we are already tracking 🙂

  11. It may happen in the future, but tbh right now it's not a priority especially due to the recent fixes that has been made on all the bugs with gem and inventory slots.

    But yes we was already thinking some month ago if that could be a good thing to give another slot line to the inventory.

  12. No, the NPC has been already placed nicely to deal with this issue and it makes the quests even more faster like the 180 (...) - 250 leveling was not enough fast.

    If we make a respawn at center people wont be able to go out easily, and that will lead to another nonsense request like "give Bryll a teleport to Muris".

    Just give us time to fix the map, that's the only thing you want. I know the wait is long, but it's gonna come with probably other great benefits for all other maps.

    Reworking all of this take a lot of time, if people enjoy the lvl 1-50 that's because this is the only part that got completely reworked in 10 years, and this is something we really want to do as soon as possible but server stability is the priority for now.

    You know, the ROSE team is mostly agree with everything you all said but unfortunally you guys just need to give us some time to work on all of this,

  14. Good morning, we are aware there is an issue right now with one of our services that is causing some people to be unable to fully login to the game. This is related to a problem we have been having for a few weeks now that we have been unable to fix so far.

    We are actively investigating and working on a solution but unfortunately it is a highly technical problem and we have limited information about it at this time. To unblock players we are periodically restarting one of our services. While this temporarily fixes the problem it also can cause some strange behavior related to clans, parties and some other systems.

    We will be collecting some data throughout the day from the live service, we don't expect this to cause any issues but you may observe a delay or two when we collect this data.

    6. People who stream lvl 30muse with magician build -SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED to say that is easy to level a CLERIC, what they show it's nothing near the truth.

    7. Everyone is laughing at private servers, but the truth is there are private servers, with a ton of people running for years - one specific server is running for 15 years, maybe you should check how far they've developed and build on top of that instead.

    8. No matter what you are saying, taken upon your words, not having complete reset - this is the actual launch of the game, naming it early access is just a backup plan so you have something to say when you finally figured you screwed up - but considering that majority of players who play rose - have played it for decades, and know how things go - you probably won't have a second chance.

    9. When you open forum for discussions - don't lock every topic that is not convenient to you, you either live with it or just don't waste peoples time.

    Progress comes from criticism and pointing out mistakes - not from fake ass lickers. We have few people repeating same thing in the forum, just to oppose the opinions they don't like, no matter if they are backed up with facts. Both in forum and discord.

    10. Good luck with this rosewanabee project, and big thanks to the team for the disappointment delivered, I'd rather return playing in a private server, than losing months of my time to some non sense. 

    11. Have fun to all players - cleric oriented players - go for mage, magev2 sucks.

    As for PVP oriented players - hawkers are the way to go, at least before they nerf them to "balance" the game.

    What the point to post this and quit. But i'm sure you will read it so here we go:

    1. Whatever that's the case or not (spoiler: no) good for you if you think that's normal, we think not.

    2. I have zero clue what you are talking about.

    3. Thanks to warn us but we are not completely stupid you know, of course we will have to balance it this is what Early-Access is for.

    4. ONE thread by one of us got closed and the reason has been pretty munch explained: stop flooding the forum and the discord about cleric buff, the only thing you are doing is spreding toxicity over the game and influence the opinion that the changes are bad while you didn't even touch the game. So until you played EA and give us proper feedback to make the game BETTER, whatever how munch you create threads and flood our medias that wont change anything and we wont listen. Also you admit that we are enough open to "go back how is meant to be" if at some point we realize we are wrong wich is good, but that's not enough for you, what do you want exactly, a perfect game straight at early-access opening? Sorry that wont happen. Also do you know what is Early-Access???

    5. You only say this because of the cleric changes. We literally went over those decision according to the community (p2w, runes, king too strong, refine, etc etc) and we will continue to do it. Also there is an interesting faq that you can read about our plans of literally everything you have said. Of course cleric will require so complex digging to make it shine but i don't know what i'm talking about it since you don't care anyway.

    6. So you are saying to players how to play Cleric now? Who stated that you are forbidden to use offensive skills as Cleric? Did you ever hear about Battle Cleric? Do you even know what is War Cleric? Yea, true ROSE player for sure.

    7. We perfectly know everything that is happening and developped around us.

    8. Ah yes here we go so i really have to explain it finally: early-access is just another name for BETA. Do i need to explain what is a BETA too? The reason why we didn't stated it as release is because we are not satisfied with the current state of the game and because we want the game enough good to be enjoyable to new players, wich is not the case for now. But to reach this point it will still require months of work and the community is tired waiting. So we decided to open the game earlier to the community so players can enjoy playing ROSE again while we make it better. That's why there is no Steam release for now too. The game is not enough good yet to be shown to the world.

    9. See 5, also you are the one that make me waste my time actually so a little advice: try tempering your nerves next time rather than throwing a text full of rage for no reason.

    Well, since we'r NA we'r probably going for the 3rd version xD

    It's not my favourite one but it has the advantages of:

    - Having a clear path and a clear progression

    - Goblin Cave is near to the boat (really not a big fan but i see the reason)

    - No confusing double gates

    - Latest quest progressions and new job change are made for this version

    We may redo the lightmap that looks way worse than others versions imo 🙂

     

    iROSE is good too, Evolution is beautifull but the worst as beginner map, jROSE is very good but we don't have the licence

     

    (before you'r asking for, we'r going for NA Luxem + same as adv plain would be good to redo lightmaps :v)

    1. The first version was introduced with iRose. We started on Birth Island first after a few levels we could go to Adventurer's Plains.
    2. The second version didn't stay long (can't remember when this version came).
    3. Then a totally new map was introduced ROSE Online Evolution released. This was the biggest version of Adventurer's Plains. At least it felt like that to me.
    4. A more compact version of the third version.

    I personally prefer the second one. I find two entrances to Valley not that useful. Especially on the newer maps it's unnecessary to have two entrances to Valley next to each other. The only thing i didn't like of the second map is the location of Goblin Cave. At the waterfalls like from the first map was better.

    - First one is iROSE, so the first version

    - Second one is the 3rd version exclusive to NA

    - Third one is ROSE Evolution, so the 2nd version

    - Fourth one is the 3rd version exclusive to jROSE
