goatstew Posted February 1 Posted February 1 The map is nice, having a larger map with icons on it is great. Only change i would make, is to make the sizes of the maps consistent. For example Default Xita Refuge map is fine, but then Marsh of Ghosts is tiny, and Sikuku Prison is tiny.
Luckystriike Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Man I love this patch! Good QOL changes! Thanks devs 1

HilariousFace Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Regarding the new camera collision physics, you might wanna take a trip to Forgotten Temple, I'm sure you will notice some new problem, more annoying than before. When you move through the tight tunnel inside temple, your camera is basically in collision mode at all times against the wall, and your camera will sweep through all walls, your camera very often will swipe and clip into these add-on objects that do not belong to the wall pieces. The problem is these add-on objects do have click hit box (just like how annoying the fairy click hit box is), so you will very often click onto those add-on objects by accident, it gets really annoying because you want to walk forward, so you click far away, but these accidental click onto these camera clipped objects, will guide you to the opposite direction of what you want.
Zeror Posted Wednesday at 11:25 PM Posted Wednesday at 11:25 PM About this: Quote NPC Dialog Background ROSE Online's NPC and Event dialogs are unique but they are not without their issues. Specifically, it has generally been very difficult to read the text on this dialogs since they did not have a background and the light font often did not contrast well with the background. Internally on the team, we lamented this situation for a long time and some of our team members are unshakably convinced their eyesight has suffered as a result. At long last we have added a background to this dialog to improve the experience. We are sorry we did not do it sooner! I think the background is a nice addition, but the line length should also be addressed regarding the number of words per line. For an optimal reading experience, 9 to 12 words per line is advised. I would suggest making the width of the quest window narrower instead of full screen width. This quest dialog of World of Warcraft is a good example of this, check this addon for WoW to get an idea how it could be done, leaving thematization aside for the moment.
