Hello Visitors.

This is already the second year that we are sharing this incredible adventure, can you believe it? Time flies so fast!
This month marks the return of the Christmas Event as well as the Anniversary Event to celebrate our 2 years of services.
On this occasion we have changed the first Anniversary Set and a brand new one is available by finishing the Anniversary quest line!
Of course we also have game updates, some of which were particularly requested.

 No-Exp Rework

This is the most anticipated feature of this patch, we have completely reworked the no-exp system!
The current no-exp is particularly unsuitable for the multi-level experience that ROSE offers. It was very easy to forget to recharge the consumable which created a stressful experience.
With the new no-exp there is no need for consumables anymore!
You just have to open the character interface, click on Lock EXP below the experience bar and that's it! Your character will permanently stay at its current level until you deactivate the Lock Exp. It is persistent after relog. You can completely forget about it!
We tried to create the simplest experience possible, we hope you will enjoy it!

Junon and Luna Drop Rework

The improvements continue with the rework of the drops of Junon Planet as well as the whole Luna Planet!
We had very good feedback following the first part of the drop rework of Junon. This patch follows the same process. We reworked all the trash drops and reduced their number so that your bags are not constantly full and we rebalanced the drops and their rate to offer you a satisfying experience.
The drops are a big part of the game and it is extremely important to us that they are good. The team will continue the rework until every single map is done.

Clan Chat Boxes, Shout Chat box and related improvements

Chat Bubble also got some attention as well as the chat itself, probably its last update before it reaches a whole new level with the conversion to our new UI system!
We have been asked many times if you could have chat bubbles for Clans, so we did it! Clan communication will probably be more fun this way!
We have added a Shout Bubble so you can tell who is shouting in Junon and we have also changed the color of the Party Chat Bubble so that they are all a different color.
The chat has also undergone some changes to be in line with these new bubbles:
- Shouts are now Red, which makes more sense for something that is loud!
- Party messages now Light Blue, like shouts were before this change.
In addition to this, there are some other details like adding the [Party] prefix for Party Chat, all in an effort to make things clearer, especially for new players.

We hope you will enjoy these changes!

Ignore Players Summon in PVP

target enemy toggle.png

Another change that was highly requested and was a real problem, especially for gamepad-only players (like our dear Steam Deck users).
The target enemy (tab key) feature has been greatly improved compared to what it was originally, but the problem is that if you use it when there are a lot of players in front of you, there is a good chance that you will end up targeting a Salamander Flame or an Artisan Turret!
It is already complicated for keyboard + mouse players, but for gamepad players it becomes almost impossible to target the right enemy since you do not have a mouse!
Fortunately, you can now go to the options and uncheck the enemy summon targeting if you wish! Phew!

Heal Dampening Adjustment

This is not something completely new since this change was in testing but we finally decided to make it permanent:
Despite the possibility of resetting skills indefinitely, we understand that it is not very practical for Battle Clerics to change skill trees only for Akram Arena, which can lead to a significant handicap in the team. From now on, Salamander Flame will no longer be counted as a Full Support skill, so you can keep your favorite PVP build when playing in Akram Arena.
We have also increased the maximum number of Clerics possible to 3 before being affected by Heal Dampening.
Beyond 3 Clerics, Heal Dampening will be effective, but we have revised the penalty received downwards. Now the Heal debuff is 20% for 4 Clerics, and increases by 20% for each additional Cleric, which is really lighter than the original settings.
With these changes we hope that Akram Arena games will be less difficult, especially for Clerics.

That is all for this patch, we have also made lot of small fixes like some that will probably be greatly appreciate, like Spiky Hair lovers since we finally fixed this hairstyle for a lot of the hats ingame!
We hope that you enjoy the content of this path, and the ROSE TEAM wish you a very Merry Xmas!
