[Guide] Orias' Debt

This quest has been shrouded in mystery for many, many years. This guide will help you navigate thru the various stages. 

Talk to [Weapon Craftsman] Mairath in Breezy Hills to start this journey.  Mairath upgrades weapons and armor but to start this quest, choose option 2.  Chat with him about pollution, then take his quest called "Pest Control" 


You can kill any type of Pomic (regular, Red, Scout, Fighter, etc) but I had the best luck with the Red Pomics.   Go back to Mairath and receive some zulie for your hard work.  Then talk to Mairath again, also choosing option 2.

This time when he starts talking about how unsafe Breezy Hills is,  pick option 2 "Here's some news for ya! I think it's safe".  When he asks if the Pomic population has been reduced,  reassure him that it has.  He will give you the next part of the questline called "New Breezy Hills" 



[Ferrell Guild Staff] Belz needs you to run an errand for him. (I guess it's too much trouble for him to walk over to Punwell who is literally across from him).  The quest is called "Belz's Deal"

 

[Smith] Punwell can't afford to pay Belz for the supplies but he asks you to go collect zulie from Orias in El Verloon because she owes him money. The deal is that if you collect 120,000 zulie, he will let you keep the 20,000. The quest is called "Punwell's Wager"



[Ikaness Staff] Orias is in the little town in El Verloon Desert.  She needs you to go dig up the zulie that she buried in the desert. The quest is called "Orias' Debt"


As you can see, there is now a shovel in the quest log but you won't need that. Just go stand on these spots in El Verloon. 




You will see a message that you found 50,000 zulie each time.


The third spot is where the 20, 000 is. Unlike the other spots, this one is not in the water.


If you abandon the quest after you find 120,000, you will get to keep that zulie. But even tho you can return to Mairath and take the quest again, the dig spots will not produce more zulie until you actually finish the whole quest.

To complete the quest, return to Punwell with the zulie.  He takes the supplies and tells you to bring the zulie to Belz.  "Punwell's Payment"



Belz takes the 100,000 zulie and sends you to his neighbor, [Street Vendor] Mile to see if he will buy the shovel that you're now stuck with. 
"Belz' Referral"



Mile will buy the shovel from you for 20,000 zulie but first he wants you to deliver a message to [Guide] Lena in Zant.
"Mile's Decision"



Lena eventually gives you the 20,000 zulie that Punwell promised you a lifetime ago.  Return to Mairath with Lena's message and pick option 3 "Breezy Hills is liveable again" . Mairath will give you some more zulie and finally this quest is over.

The quest can be repeated, but the same rules still apply; if you abandon it after digging up the 120k zulie, you can't get more zulie from the dig spots until you actually complete the quest.  

The quest does give a good amount of experience (depending on your level)  if you choose to complete it and then repeat it.
