You're right, but then there should be other options that give similar exp rate. Currently, there are no other similar options, everything else is much much slower. That is the problem.

Yeah but those options should not include removing repeatable quests. Maybe raising exp a little bit in less populated areas, create repeatable quests in other areas to encourage people to go there etc etc.

Also sometimes you cant have it both ways. Optimal leveling or a bit slower and more exploring route. Choose one or the other.

    How about no.
If you don't like questing, don't do it.
If you don't want mob hitting you so often/hard, put points into defense and stop being greedy with damage/pulls.
If you want to stop missing the mobs, put more points into CON / take your accuracy passives

This isn't a design problem, it's a lack of self control problem.

    Agreed.

You arent forced to do any repeteable quests, so if you dont like them dont do them.

If you dont like to level on a "sweet spot for far too long", then dont.

If you dont like a particular party's level gap, leave it.

If you want to pursue the "purpose of exploring other zones", you are free to do it.

If you dont like the "repetitive experience" these quests create, do something else.

Boom problem solved and others can keep playing the way they want to.

  3. Crappy idea. Its fine as it is now with a limit of 2 clients.

If yall dont want to party with dual clienters, either leave their parties and create your own or kick them if you happen to be the leader.

Also a very good way to give advantage to people with a PC + laptop. If i cant boot 2 clients i'll simply put the laptop next to me and play with 2 clients anyway.

In my opinion it really depends on the gameplay. World of Warcraft and for example Oldschool Runescape both look pretty old but still attract a lot of players just because of the fun gameplay. For me the older graphics come with a feeling of nostalgia which can be brought over to a new audience. Launching on Steam would be great but spending money on influencers goes a bit to far for me personally for what Rose is.

Yeah, I kind of touched that part as well when I said rose is very basic in comparison to other games. I don't know about EVO as I didn't play it but back on Ruff and Titan all you'd do in pvp is spam skills and pray to Jesus you'd time the stuns in order to kill off someone. There was no end game gear in different tiers, every knight wanted a skull breaker and either 3/15 or 5/20 jabber gear, everyone would use same skill rotation etc etc.

Now when it comes to graphics - why would anyone choose to play a game with almost 20 years old graphics and gameplay mechanics instead of WoW, RuneScape (new), New World, Elder Scrolls etc etc etc? You'd only attract very niched players and there are very few of them around in the whole gaming community. Rose doesn't need a whole graphics transformation, but rather something like WoW, RuneScape, GTA (older versions) did with updated textures, details, lightning, shadows and such. It would go a long way. Its obviously pretty easy to get us OG players on the hype train but we will have a very hard time attracting new players.

Influencers are expensive af, especially if you look at the biggest ones but they do bring enormous amounts of traffic. PewDiePie alone made a dead game sell a lot just from streaming and talkin random crap. I have 2 friends that tried to sell some gym clothing and products via ads and self made videos and I'm not gonna lie it went pretty decent but when they started doing ads via influencers it blew up and went next level pretty much right away.

  5. Rose's biggest problem right now is that it is heavily outdated. It looks old and is very basic in comparison to modern games which will make it very hard to attract new players.

    - Modernize the graphics. It doesn't need to be photo realistic ofc, but something similar to what WoW did.

    - Modernize game mechanics

    - Spend $$ on influencers and TikTok ads

    - Launch on Steam and Epic Games

But yeah I'd say modernize the graphics would be most important because if the product (game) looks old and heavily outdated on ads, the ads aint gonna help that much. You'd probably only appeal to some niched gamers instead of a much broader audience.
