  1. When I try to speak with Jeffrey Lloyd in Eldeon I'm not given the option to initiate the quest I was given by Historian Jones. I had a similar experience with Pabel in Luna. Do I have to complete certain quests for these NPCs before I can progress with the Royals of oblivion fate quest, or is this just a bug? Actually nevermind I got it to work with Jeffrey, however I could not find the quest dialog with Pabel in Luna before I completed most of the questline relating to Est.
  2. First i forgot to change the size of the icon in pixelformer before I saved it which I think caused this problem. But then when I figured that out I for some reason didn't get the prompt so change to 16 bpp, so the file was 8 bpp when it should be 16. But when I tried again today making the picture named mark.bmp it somehow worked. not sure if this will be of any help.

  4. I'm having some trouble getting this to work. I placed the file named mark.bmp in my Rose Online directory and loaded up the game. But when I look in the clan tab all I see is my current non-custom clan logo, and when I press view it just disappears.

  6. I'm feeling kind of undecided about whether I want to go Bourg or Artisan. Does Bourg get additional discount skills other than the common dealer one? Also is Bourg generally better for making zulie quickly compared to Artisan?
  7. I'm the least familiar with the dealer class and plan on making a Bourgeois or maybe a crafting Artisan once EA goes live. Do you guys more experienced with the Dealer class have some general advice? I'm thinking I will make a gun Bourg. Thanks!
  8. That's a great idea for mini-game maps and would give Castle gear some more use compared to how they are just used for showing off now. Since the devs already want to improve Castle gears it would be pretty cool to have some arenas that are only for Castle gear PvP.
  9. First off I would like to float the idea that maybe at some point with the roll out of the three last planets the level cap for ROSE online could be increased to 300. While the game has always been quite grindy you could still reach level 250 with only the first four planets available, so having another 50 levels might not be such a bad idea since the game itself revolves heavily around leveling up your character, there could even be more skills added for the classes to spend their skill points on. I don’t know how official these descriptions are from this ROSE online fan site but I’ll post them anyway: https://rofansite.fandom.com/wiki/R.O.S.E._Online_Maps Karkia ” The Karkians are not only shrouded in mystery, but in darkness as well. They are the only known creatures that cannot breathe the natural air in Arua's Universe; they need to breathe a purple smokey substance known as Karkian Darkness to survive. This is why their civilization resides underneath the planet's surface, and no Karkian structure can be seen from other planets.” This planet could have a heavy focus on exploring the underground world of Karkia. There would also be surface maps but the main focus would be on underground maps like the Goblin cave or Cave of Ulric. These underground maps would have multiple levels that features dungeons that are only accessible from there. The dungeons have a wide array of features and purposes and would get harder and with a higher level requirement depending on how deep you’ve descended. Eventually all these underground maps (not the dungeons) would lead down to the same final inner world that would have a much higher level requirement compared to what is normal for the rest of Karkia and would also require some other achievements like special quest items that are obtained from the underground dungeons as well as the tower dungeons mentioned below. Once you are able to reach the inner world of Karkia it would function as an end game area with high level mobs, bosses and dungeons. It also features a really cool looking city! In this city you can obtain unique gear, crafting materials and gaining access to clan fields and arenas. This would incentivize high level players to eventually return to Karkia so they can explore it’s inner sanctum. Judging from the picture of the planets, there also seems to be many tall towers on this planet. These towers could function as dungeon style maps where you climb the different levels of the towers which get harder the higher you get, offering some unique rewards for completing them, quest items like the ones related to exploring the inner world could tie into these tower dungeons as well. The art style for Karkia would be desolate and barren on the surface, while the underground maps and inner world would look like a mix between Goblin Cave and Eldeon. Big caves, huge bio-luminescent mushrooms and vegetation, great shining crystals sticking out of the ground and cave walls, waterfalls pouring down, you get the idea. Skaaj ” The most beautiful planet in Arua's Universe, many Visitors use it as a place of rest and relaxation, to restore and rejuvenate themselves from their adventures. But, since, Visitors were created to have adventures, not to have vacations… this sort of resort planet is not as popular as it once was, or could once be again. There aren't much monsters there because the planet is a resort itself. Currently found only in Rose Online Brazil, first and only server with all seven planets. There are no monsters, the city of Arua focuses on a rich market of special items for manufacturing items that only Arua Servants can get.” This planet could work well as a very event and mini-game driven type of world. Race tracks and other type of mini-game styled maps. It could also feature some PvP arenas and clan fields perhaps with some special features and rules, even though that kind of goes against the whole ”resort” story line. But then again, many ROSE players enter the Training Grounds for some casual PvP after grinding so I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. Skaaj could also feature some maps that have mobs in them for farming & questing, but these mobs would give little or no EXP. Instead their primary purpose would be to drop clan points, unique items, crafting materials, cosmetics and so on. It would be cool if there are quests related to getting some unique parts for carts & castle gear as well. The art style for Skaaj could be similar to the cozy feel of Junon maps, but perhaps some more focus on the colors red and pink. Hebarn ”The Dark Planet, home of the intelligent explorers called Scholars, as well as the evil tortured race known as Brintos, it is the planet that is farthest away from any other planet in Arua's Universe. If you believe in scary Halloween campfire stories, deadly spidery monsters come from Hebarn. Nothing more is known about this planet, ruled by the God of Darkness, Jealousy, Envy, and Malice.” This planet would be the end game to end all end games in ROSE online. Very hard to level or get around the maps for even the highest leveled players playing in a party. Huge swarms of mobs, overpowered bosses, dungeons that are hard to survive not only because of difficult mobs but also things like traps, different levels that have to be completed before a timer runs out, things like that. Most of the maps except for what heavily assaulted cities there are would be PvP/PvE style maps like DotD. This world would feature the biggest, baddest clan fields and arenas, the most rewarding and difficult quests and the chance to finally take on Hebarn once and for all in a massive event with a huge amount of players. The art style for Hebarn would be dark and gloomy, filled with calamities, fire & brimstone, a real hellscape. Feel free to post your own suggestions about what you would like to see for the three last planets!
