They reduced the heavy reliance of Cleric's buff by reducing their magnitude, and re-distribute the buffs across all 4 classes, nowadays you will see people be able to complete dungeons without a cleric, it's a good change IMO.

Find a party first. Just like you have to do before leveling up. You can't queue up and find a party to level up.

But regarding the cleric changes, I believe it is because Clerics were holding the game as hostage for a long time, back then when a cleric is not present, nothing is functional, you just sit there starring at each other. At least before if you had your own cleric you could suffice. Now you just stare at your screen when you can't find a party.

In my honest opinion, we have reached a point of stale economy where I believe it's better to get a bunch of characters to farm these 2m daily quest than going out all the way to equip a farmer and doing repetitive risky king farmings.

Yes, which is a joke. One major change they wanted was to erase the need for multiple characters. They even made it impossible to log more than two at a time.

The economy prices of certain stats vs others is just supply and demand. The reason the dex ap sells for more than the int ap is because more people want the stat therefor pay more therefor the price goes up.

Obviously, but not the point. Again topaz and garnet are the same price.

  4. Something to add. No stat takes more materials to craft than another, meaning the variation in price shouldn't be much. The thing is, it takes me HOURS to farm 20mil and maybe not even get it if luck isn't on my side. It takes minutes to craft and get a max stat. The rich getting richer is an understatement here, they are bleeding the player base out and killing the game. Time becomes more precious to me the older I get. I won't and don't expect other people to play a game where their time is so easily taken advantage of.

  5. I've been playing ROSE on various servers on and off for a long time. This is my first time playing EVO, which probably means I'm not educated enough on some of my opinions. That being said, I feel like the state of the game and quality of life need some help.

Leveling to max is painfully slow and near impossible to do alone.  Please don't just give me the whole you need to be a in a party, sure I get that. But show me another mmorpg where you have to party up to get to max level. The group activities almost always come after reaching the max level.

Cleric changes and all the blah blah about it. My only question here is, doesn't it just open the door for max charm/max dex raiders and so on with the other classes to be buff bots for a group?

Skill points. Not enough, simple as that. Imagine having to pay for a skill reset, it would kill the game instantly.

Stats versus gems. I don't even know where to start. So many questions and no luck finding any answers. Why do some stats sell for more than 150mil and others you can't get to sell for 2mil? Sure I understand some stats are better than others and some classes are more common, but let's look at it this way. Dex / AP is around 20m for a g789, and Int / AP is around 10m for g789. Why is one stat worth twice as much as the other, but a topaz and garnet are the same price?  Then that leads to the question of what's the difference between Garnet 10 and Dex 25/Ap 40. I can't find the answer and sure as hell don't have the zulie to test anything for myself. If a grade 10 gem is only going to be minimally better than a max stat why are they priced at 1 billion zulie. I don't even want to imagine trying to make that much zulie. No game developer should ever expect someone to play that much for one item. Then back to the point that the gem is only slightly better than a max stat that only costs damn near a fraction of a percent of the gem. Try to make that make SENse.

Which is the next topic, what a useless stat currently. Absolutely ignored in dungeons because you can't crit a boss. No one plays pvp, at least not during the hours I play, so the crit and sen stats are ignored. The only thing its good for is an artisan to craft max stats.

The state of the economy and slow leveling grind via repeatable quests caused my to lose interest and stop playing about three months after release. I have recently started playing again and will say that the economy has gotten better

I know I'm asking to be crucified, but I'll say it anyway. Maybe the problem with the stats and gems, or economy as a whole, is the greedy little goblins that craft the stats and farm the materials for gem making. It wouldn't surprise me if the same people that are camping the farming spots, probably botting half the time they are farming, or waiting for me to spawn a wanderer for them are also buying items just to keep the price of them higher. I could be completely wrong, but with such a small player base it really wouldn't be hard to control the economy with 2 or 3 clans working together.

I'm saying all this without knowing anything for certain and also offering no solution. So shame on me, I know. I just think it might be healthy for the game to talk about the potential of lack of resources and how they seem to be controlled by players at the moment.

In the end, however, I still think you're going to receive the same responses as that is the majority's impression of this post are.

I agree. Everyone wants to talk about cleric, instead of just the buffs. I have no ill feelings towards you, not even mad that you changed the topic. Just started to get tired of seeing cleric this and cleric that. I'm only replying because of the tags and notifications. I had done very little research before posting originally, now that post is just a thorn in my side. If I could rewrite it, I wouldn't mention Clerics. I would say that I just want access to buffs without a party. So maybe the topic would be party buffs or something along those lines. that being said, you've answered that. So honestly, I'm pretty much done talking about it anyway. Just planning on going with the flow and seeing how it turns out in the end. Seeing how the game plays, the decisions about cleric and buffs aren't going to be detrimental to me playing or not.

    I have a Battle Cleric lvl 103

Battle Cleric isn't new, its probably worse now than it used to be. Imagine being a Battle Cleric with full buffs for pvp. I don't care about cleric, just pointed out a couple things. I only care about buffs. Actually starting to get irritated that the topic still says to bring back cleric buffs. I never said I wanted that, its like putting words in my mouth. Mod changed the topic, now everyone comes to the thread thinking that's what I want.

Very smart to say this from your Forum account from which mods can ban you because it's tied to your game account :')

    That's bannable

I went to the website to make an account, downloaded the game and started playing. No where did I see that you can't play on three clients. I said that I didn't know it was a rule and I have no problem following it. That being said, they obviously need a better way of telling people about this rule before issuing bans for it. Although, in my case it would be hard to prove that I'm on three clients. Considering four people in my house are playing the game and we are sharing a cleric that we have up on a laptop. You think I should get banned if I'm vending on one client while leveling on the second, and occasionally being the one to hit the heal or lay a bonfire down?

What do you want to see in regards to changes? What do you want to see discussed here in this topic?

In terms of changes there's really only one thing I want. Full powered buffs, with out needing to be in a party with three other people. I don't want to discuss this topic. My topic was just buffs, but that got taken as bring back cleric buffs and the topic was changed/merged. I don't care how I get my buff or even if there are buffs. If full buffs are to exist then I just want to be able to give one to myself, and not a weaker buff. If Bill, Bob, Bobbybill, and Billybob get 69 more movement speed from their party buff, then I want a buff potion that gives me 69 not 68.

Exactly. The effort to reward ratio on so many maps it totally out of whack

The amount of effort I had to put in just to get me to level 100 had me almost quit playing. There is absolutely no reason to not be lvl 250. I was looking forward to the slow leveling, thinking I was going to farm my way up. Oh boy was I wrong, I've just been doing the same 6 quests for over a month now. Before it was fine to not be max level, because there was so much to do at different levels in the game. Hell you even had to have alt characters at lower levels just to do participate in certain things.

Ideally the game should not have zulie from repeatable quests. As long as the zulie an average player makes is just slightly higher to the cost of playing then the economy will see a healthy amount of inflation. This is the most fair for everyone.

now the citizens of rose are now classified as "boned" and "not boned"

You're telling me people have hundreds of millions of zulie already from doing a repeatable quest? That sounds outrageous. Especially when considering that fact that because I was late to the party, I can no longer get this zulie myself. I do feel boned. Is it fair to the players that didn't get the chance to do this quest? I don't really see many other options, other than quest rewards or just giving zulie to players, as a way of starting the economy. Having it too high from the start and changing it only caused more problems though. Now once the economy does settle, the players that got to farm the quests before the decrease will have way too much zulie. The Mayor might have to step in and start handing out stimulus checks, instead of making you donate to a fund.

Just say'in that I very thank to the devs because they put really good decision to distribute the buffs to all the classes.. or rather than devs should remove the Dual Client so that there's no more Cleric Slave and focus to the main character. *laughing so hard to this topic*

I'm saying that you would never have seen this post if the topic wasn't merged. You didn't read through the whole thread and try to add to the conversation.

For being a Full Support Cleric for this version.. the devs make the cleric more useful in the party.. Clerics now can focus healing the party.. Thank you for dividing the buffs to each specific classes/job.

This is is why the topic should not have been merged. He isn't reading reading the thread. This has nothing to do with what I'm trying to talk about. Cleric was always the healer, could never do a dungeon with out one.

  13. So I can't even play on my brother's laptop to help him out when he's not online? that's a shame and not very social friendly. You will never know who is playing on three clients. To ban me alone would be Ludacris when you have no idea if other people are doing it, because acting like they aren't is ignorant. I bet 50% of the shops in junon are on laptops, while the desktop is free to use two clients if wanted. But that's off topic, I didn't even know this was a rule and will happily follow it.  You don't want to address the fact that its arguably easier and more rewarding to play on three characters in a game you are trying to make to be meant for one? I cant even imagine trying or wanting to play two characters at once on Wow or any other game I've played in the realm of the same genre.

20-30 is like the fastest 10 levels in the game, just do the zant quests lol

Not really the point, so ill just edit it out. The point is that the whoopie will whop you with ease.

Answer this for me. I've been playing on three chars at the same time. Arti and raider on desktop and cleric on laptop. Its almost easier and more enjoyable, even with the weird dual client delay thing, with two clients auto attacking and the cleric healing to lvl up than it is on any one of those solo. Why is that?

  15. Multi boxing needs to be removed from gaming existence, this is something I feel most people should agree with. There was nothing worse than a guy scripting 3 bourgs either taking your farming spot or one hitting you in pvp. I like that I idea of only needing one client open. That being said, I assume certain things won't be doable while only running one client and no buffs. This is all I'm trying to figure out, things like how much more difficult or will it even be possible to run through the underground prison by myself to kill Kera and leave. Before I would just log cleric and bourg, buff myself and do it. I can't find any posts that specifically talk about not wanting to party up to achieve max character potential or solo farming. I don't have hours of free time to play, so its taking me a while to get to max level. As I'm slowing grinding my way up, its looking like mobs will not get easier but harder and my dream of solo farming will be exactly that, just a dream. I can not think of a single game, mmorpg included, that makes you feel like you need to be in a party to lvl up. Again even if you don't need to, for most people it feels like you do. I understand wanting to bring social aspects into the game, but don't understand why that comes in the form of hurting the solo or duo players. Solo players are at a natural numbers disadvantage already anyway, why hurt them more. 80% of the game should be playable solo or it has a set life expectancy. Just waiting for the day when enough people become less interested and don't play as much. Then you can't do anything because nobody wants to party with you to do something they've already done 100 times.

the team decided to separate the buffs from the clerics as to not re-enable a behavior in which new/returning players would require a cleric to level up.

Everyone seems to think you need one in your party, but now its just to heal. Now the behavior for new/returning players will be the requiring of a party to lvl up. Which has to be worse in the long run for the game. What happens with the steam release and later when people that have never played want to try it out. They are going to have to party up all the way to lvl 250 for an enjoyable experience? This is hard for me to do with years of experience.

  16. I don't even want to discuss this. Now its just a headache. I still don't think you are reading the whole thread, conversations evolve. I get it though, way too many other headaches on the forum. I'd be fine if you closed the post, it's not going to get us anywhere. I've hardly participated in a pre developed game like this, and the times I have, I've never gone to the forums and suggested anything. Just felt different about this game. I started playing <deleted> when I was 14 (28 now). Not knowing it was a private server for years. When I found out it was, there was no official server to support. Out of respect for the game and especially Rednim, I quit playing <deleted> when I found out about an official server. I have been playing, and was waiting to play ROSE Online for almost a year. I guess I need to work on my forum skills because more than anything I just want to know if the end game (aside from dungeons and the classic you need help killing that) will still be playable solo. I don't know what the end game looks like from the base code. I just assumed you inherited game code with broken buffs, but these broken buffs allowed me to play a certain way for years. So seeing them gone, naturally I'm looking for ways to do what I used to.

Also there was always basic and party buffs. basic buffs could be given to anyone no matter the lvl difference, and were the offensive buffs. It was the party buffs that made the game playable solo, because they were all the defensive buffs.

The fact of the matter is, there already currently exists the fact where all classes has unique buffs that is only for them/their party.

No spider man has unique buffs, no one else can shoot webs and climb walls. A hawker can still get a hit buff.

Yes, I see three options that make sense to me. Remove buffs completely, make the class specific buffs not be party buffs (so every class just has there own buffs), or make a way to get full buffs with out needing 4 party members

Everything you mentioned in the first post is about giving buffs back to clerics and how it’s unique to ROSE.

No, buffs are unique to ROSE. I'm saying I don't want to party with three other people to get buffs. It has nothing to do with clerics. You are making it about clerics because I didn't really suggest a solution that doesn't involve them. But then again, I didn't really suggest anything. Just wanted to know how people felt about having to party up to get full buffs. I played <deleted>, so I was used to having strong max lvl buffs and running through early game content like it was a joke and on max lvl farming by myself with a cleric and bourg. I'm not saying I want to run through the early game, never liked that about the other server. But I do want to be able to go to a spot and farm refines/gear by myself, as I just don't see finding a party to take with me everywhere I want to farm feasible.

Lol frustration, I mean sure I could have said please a couple of times or not mentioned the topic getting changed. But you should have said something when you changed the topic. I didn't even realize you did until after I posted once. Guess I should have edited it to be one message so I didn't look frustrated haha. I don't want to come to my post and see people talking about clerics and getting defensive over not wanting them changed back. I've already said that this isn't a discussion about clerics. But people see the topic and last thing posted. They aren't going to go to the beginning and get the full story. Which is why we just have people posting "how about no", "I like my cleric", "this is already suggested, go look at other posts before making a new one". We don't need another post saying the same thing because its just causing people to be rash with their replies.

Hmm where to start?  I don't mind the cleric changes.

clearly the first thing I said. with the topic being buffs

  20. Now I'm trying to lvl up a raider. I'm lvl 38 and can't even kill two moldies without dying. been here for 30 mins and neither party will add me. I can't even play the game at this point. How are people enjoying this if you are just looking for a party constantly?

  21. It would be nice to not need any buffs besides your class' specific buffs. If there are situations where I can't do something with those buffs, but would be able to do it with a full buff. Then I want to be able to get a full buff, because if full buffs exist people will always find a way to use them to gain an advantage.
