  1. You could start with a simple map design just to implement it first and see how the everyone react to it and then "upgrade" it when there is time for it.
  2. It has to be noted that the Ballroom is already a implemented map for rose but never got used. This could be a potential candidate for them. Same for the tree house, which is a complete map but only used for the loading screen. Some Event maps could get used too. All in all there are some maps which will never see the daylight (again) and this could be a salvation for these maps and their music tracks, which would just get deleted instead of recycled!
  3. I appreciate all of your concernc and input for my idea. At the end of the month I'll edit the cons and pros to make it more detailed. The Poll will end either whenever it automatically ends or June, 1st.
  4. Like my title said I think a clan house or private housing would be a good money/cp sink and can add some more features to motivate people. As a clan house you could get a TP skill/scroll to a existing map, like the treehouse or the ball room. That way the maps get more love and variety. AFK'in in any house is both con and pro, depending on which point of view you're looking. Pro Clan house: --> CP can be used in more than just one way. Also permament --> Scrolls could be bought in towns --> Buying new NPC's with Zuly and/or CP to give the house a more "living" feeling. Also gives the Members a possibility to get special NPC's or a Clan Warehouse. The NPC's shouldn't be too strong with Items but at least give Junon-grade ones. --> A place for Clan meetings, relaxing and trading faster --> New furniture for Dealer/Artisans to craft Con Clan House: --> Need to be implemented --> It makes solo players a bit more pressured (but honestly, it's an MMORPG not an RPG) --> If unbalanced it could be a too strong existence Pro Private housing: --> Money, Union Points, and maybe Achievement Points could be used --> New furniture --> flexing without castle gear --> sense of accomplishment --> could add a title "house owner" --> can be used for test dummies (dps test), upgrade tables, and an identifier Con Private housing: --> Need to be implemented --> it's expensive --> I dunno Maybe even give rights to a clan alliance for visiting your clan house (via invitation) or friends to visit your private house. They also can be linked together for other mechanics like a marrying system, cooking system, fishing system and more. With Test Dummies showing the DPS of all players in a Party the Member could give suggestions how to get stronger
  5. Why not both? You could buy new Equipment for mining, fishing, lumbering and maybe even racing (giving dolphin island a chance!). The better your equipment the higher your chances of a good catch. Instead of fixing good catches on the higher level maps it might be funny to see 100 high level characters fishing in el verloon to get that rare fish. As for the use of the fish: Exchange in Union points, Archievements, a potion which could be cooked for even more hp/mp and a slight buff, maybe as a daily quest Item. That would add variety in my opinion
  6. I dislike getting scaled down, simply because I love to slaughter through aplains. Also if you're a cleric your buffs will be significantly nerfed. So much, that there'll a cleric hotspot in goblin cave where the low levels get the stronger buff and go back to aplains. That'll destroy the new "more fast pacing" idea. Quests and Events should be the reason a player comes back, not because he wants to farm lvl 10 mats. But I like the Idea of fixed droptables even for higher levels, so that they could technically do that even with lvl 100.
  7. I've to agree with the bound IM Items but the other, regular, items should be unbounded like in the past. While Unique weapons are more powerful and therefore can be Account bound, I don't think that's a good idea. Why? Because you're using it a maximum of 2 times (for both 2nd job character) and then you've literally "high quality junk" and can't do shit with it. A mechanic to unbound unique Weapons for a price could be a good compromise. Like a Quest reward for high level quests or Union Point Items.
