  1. I think no matter how the system for rewarding a mob's drop is molded, there will always be people who can take advantage of that new system. When Rose was first created (and for the 10+ years after), the system was that first hit gets the drop, and I'm sure they didn't just implement that for no reason. They must have thought of all the scenarios like we are doing and decided that this was the best option, and for the most part the game did fine with that system. So I think bringing back first hit or at least make it so that if you first hit and do at least 20% of the damage, you'll get the drop (this is to prevent people from first hitting and leaving). So I'm suggesting a combination of first hit + damage. So if I first hit and do 20% of the damage, I can get it over someone doing 50% of the damage.
  2. I agree, it was a lot more simpler back then with 1st hit getting loot. The current system is bizarre, sometimes even if you 1st hit and do most damage, you still won't get the drop.
  3. I agree, i think the current prices are why i usually only see 1 other player in that event map, while with the christmas event I see a player every 3-4 meters.
  4. I agree with the chewed bones part because that's the only way that I (as a level 250) could farm. Now the only viable way for me to make zulie is to farm kings, which takes a while to spawn and there's multiple other people trying to get 1st hit.
  5. I think it should be a combination of 1st hit and damage. You don't want just 1st hit to count otherwise someone can just get 1st hit and then afk. You don't want it to be purely based off damage either because then whoever has the best gear will pretty much do the most damage and always get the drop. So I think it should be weighed to consider 1st hit (50%) and damage (50%).
