Social Media does make a huge impact in attracting users especially for online games. Being that my career resides in the advertising space. I would definitely say online advertising does have a huge outcome if you go down the path of paid media. You can look at things such as Online Video, Paid Partnerships, Etc.
Yeah it would be easily utilized with us spearheading it's delivery through sharing tweets etc.

Grow the community first and food for thought later on i think.

I believe SSO and game client will automate the forum name as your in game account name however perhaps there is a way to allow you first refusal on any character's name you make by defaulting it's name to your forum name initially. Then once you have refused it it becomes available for someone else to use?
Alternatively perhaps the use of #1010 tags on the end of our characters names will allow people who like the names use them but with a serialised number next to it. This would also serve the purpose of being the "Very first" Logia#0001 and only display the tag when clicking on user and the ability to hide this as a preference if you dislike it. -
yes these gains!

Consider including vending in that API.
That would be a killer cool feature.

got to spend little on advertisement for sure, since it is an old revived game so people surely will want to see what changed.
Steam will serve that purpose i'm certain.

It would only be a security issue if the Wiki is contributed to and maintained by volunteers. If Rednim have someone(s) to work on it - then there would be zero issue.

I think having a cooldown on a limit per account for referrals would combat this. For example - You could refer up to 5 email address with sign up requests and then have a cooldown of so many hours or days before being able to again.
Not really sure about how that could work fully as the thought just came to mind - But thinking a lot about what you said regarding people being able to take advantage of it - This could work. But yeah - Something aesthetic but non impacting stat wise or item wise would be a nice reward for friend referrals.
